Hi David, Good choice of b&w for this interesting abstract. I like the circular pattern in the sand. The several imperfections in the pattern are added interests in my opinion. Good lighting, particularly in the center of the frame, it reinforces the circular patterns of sand and in the weeds. |

Hi Shaikh, A lovely example of an orchid. I really like the green and white color against the black background. Your focus is extremely sharp. The work you did on the background is amazing, certainly more that I would ever attempt. Perfection! |

Hi Allen, This Polar Express is a prize winner. I hope you enter it in competition as it is sure to come out on top! The sky is perfect, love the stars and moon. The effort you put into post processing is excellent. There is not one suggestion I could make for improvement. Perfect in my estimation. |

Hi Debbie, I like it too. I particularly like the wispy effect of the out of focus leaves. The center of the sunflower and its petals are in good focus. The lighting is superb. I do not have Lightroom and am not too familiar with it but your choice of profiles/filters was good. I like the square format, fits the subject well. Again, good work! |

Hi Jesse, An out of the ordinary contribution this month. (That's good) You are getting proficient at hand holding with a low shutter speed. Fine focus. I see two little spots of color that you may like to clone out. Beneath the table on the left side there is a bit of blue and next to the table on the right a spot of white. Minor adjustments; good effort on trying something different. |

Thanks for your interest. I used my 10 to 24 wide angle lens set at 10mm. Quite close to the vehicle. |

Hi Murphy, Who would think of paring the colors of orange with fuchsia? But, I can't deny natures choices. Nice sharp image. I like the focus of the leaf on the left. It just needs to be as sharp as the three flowers. Complimentary background; a pleasing photograph. |

Hi Rosangela, My preference of the two images is the "original". The colors are vivid. I am wondering if the caterpillar will develop into a Monarch butterfly. Although parsley is not their favorite food. I admire your tenacity in pursuit of the caterpillar. Next time, you may want to try a smaller aperture as suggested above. |

Hi Lisa, What a comical little character you have photographed. The eyes make it. Background is perfect to emphasize the colors of the frog and clarity of the image. Wouldn't change a thing. Great work. |

Hi Pat, Good title for your photo as the center of the flower truly does glow. The center is very sharp and the focus fades as the eye moves outward. A very effective technique. |
