John, You will have to tell us what the object in the right corner is. An odd balloon? Or ??? Nice, bright and vivid colors. Good choice of filter. The Albuquerque Balloon Festival is fun and a photographers delight. If the PSA Conference was not there I don't know if I would have ever gotten to photograph it.

I do like the reflections in the water, particularly of the boathouse with it's wavy lines. Wondering what type of post processing you used. Sharpening? I see an odd color along the top of the distant tree line and a magenta color on the roof edges of the boathouse and deck. Nice composition with early morning light along with some good memories I imagine. |

Hi Debbie, I do not think this image is too dark. If lightened up it would destroy the ambience of the scene. The sky has good color and the horizon line is straight and in a good position. I think the footsteps add to the image. I would consider cropping along the bottom of the frame and making it more panorama-like. Nice! |

Hi Jesse, I like your idea of capturing a silhouette and you did that with excellent focus. The woman's profile is distinct and in a good position. I do think this photo would have more impact if the subject were further away from the camera. For me, it is a little "too much in your face" as the saying goes. I would like more of the beautiful blue sky surrounding her. Also, as Debbie mentioned the bit of odd blue on the right side of the frame could be fixed. Good idea, sharpness and color. |

Hello Shaikh, Very good subject, so nice you were able to capture both falls. You have good all around color and focus. I might have tried a slow shutter speed to get the silkiness of the water, but that is a personal opinion. You might think of lightening the far side of the rock wall a bit. (To the right of the falls.) Also removing the leafless tree in the front center of the frame. Although I may sound too critical, I do not intend to be. Only giving you ideas for improving an already very good photograph. |

Like the flowers, like the background, like the lighting. Wouldn't change a thing. The greenish background harmonizes nicely with the green in the stems. I like the composition with the larger orchid in front, the smaller to the right and placed behind the #1 orchid. I think there may be a bud of a third orchid included. Very nice image. |

Khai, The layer mask worked well. I see good focus on the two forward placed flowers. It is understandable that the rear flower would not be sharp with the aperture used. However, it is bothersome to me due to the focus and to the amount of white in the petals. |

Hi Lisa, Sharp focus, good lighting and the color combination is excellent. Orange against green is a winner. Your title is humorous. What's not to like!! |

Hi Pat, The flash light did its job; good lighting in the center of the flower. I like the orange outer petals, a result of the lighting falling off? Whatever, it gives a unique look to the image. Good composition and focus. |

Hello Murphy, Your creative eye is making something common into an uncommon object; something interesting to look at. I particularly like the color scheme with the blue and gold interspersed with black. The focus and lighting are excellent. Texture, texture, texture....great!! |

Hi Rosangela, A very pleasing image. I like the colors and your composition. The diagonal lines in the tree trunk along with the vertical lines of the running sap (?) create interest. The many textures are of interest too. Technical aspects, focus, lighting, color, etc. are all right on. You have a good eye for picking up on interesting subjects that others may not notice when walking by. |

Hi Karen, A meaningful memento aptly named. I'm assuming he is made of carved wood. If so, you did well with focusing. I like the reflection and his position in the frame. I also like how you have directed the lighting from the left and how the light falls off on the right side. The only suggestion I can make would be to crop some along the bottom. Nice work.
