Very nice image with immediate impact. I agree it would do well in competition. The colors are striking and all technical qualities are right on. I see no need for any modifications. Great work. |

Mmmm, good! I like the image. The colors are so fitting for the subject. I see many photo opportunities in that area. You did an excellent job of post processing. Fine focus throughout. Also nice lighting. |

Nice shot Debbie! I like the title and the actual glow. I'm not familiar with the radial filter but will experiment with some of my flower photos. Very nice composition, great lighting and fine focus. The background is nicely blurred. Good work. |

I think you have a good photograph.....but the Chairperson has the final say. Probably would not fit the nature category in the club I belong to. Sharp focus on the head and paws. I like the flying crumbs. Nice background. |

Jessie, You always submit a wide variety of subjects but I don't remember you submitting flowers in the past. You did a good job. Nice out of focus background and nicely focused subjects. All complementary colors and good lighting. Well done. |

Hi Charles, You met your goal of creating a very different image out of the original lily. I do admire your post processing skills, very exacting and precise. Nice work. |

Hi Karen, As you indicated, I, too, like the pattern of wear on the train car. I also like the fact that you broke the rules in regards to composition. Sometimes, as in this case, breaking the rules creates impact. I see fine focus and good lighting. Very nice image. |

Very impressive. The subject(s) on a white background shows creativity, good camera techniques and great post processing skills. The focus is flawless as is the entire image. Superior work!

Hi Murphy, Your agapanthus image is beautiful. The petals look similar to soft silk and very touchable. Wonderful shade of blue. Your use of a reflector has created good lighting. I notice you use a reflector quite often; perhaps something I should consider. I like the bit of green at the bottom of the frame. It looks softly pleated. A nice secondary addition to the image. |

Hi Pat, I like your composition of coins. I do wonder if there is a significance of your choosing coins from 1998. Good idea of having the focused coins resting on a background of out of focus coins. Creative! |

Khai, Good sunflower shot with great sharpness and a lovely out of focus background. Nice true colors with good lighting. I particularly like the lighter areas on the undersides of the forward leaf. Regarding the discussion of flipped vs. non-flipped I prefer the sunflower as you shot it. The flower is the subject and the viewer's eye meets the subject immediately....creating impact at first glance. |
