Nice work, yes there are a lot of lines. I like the diagonals crossing over the verticals and vice versa. The line patterns add interest. A bright colorful image in the lower right of the frame would certainly be an added point of interest. Good thought! |

Hi Shaikh, I like the composition in this image. Placing the corner of the building in the center of the frame is, to me, more interesting than a view of the front or side of the building. It has more impact. It seems you have brought out more of the texture of the building materials in your post processing image. I don't see room for any improvements; good as is. |

Good focus on this little lady. I think you would have had a very well done portrait of her if only her mouth was not open. I do like the idea of a tight shot but in this case not. Great you were in Vietnam, I have always wanted to travel there. Hope you will submit more of your travel photos. |

John, In my opinion this basic racing photo is well done. You have stopped a fast pace movement with good focus and an appropriately blurred background. I can appreciate the work you put into the "ghost rider". He is in a good position and was originally focused nicely. I find some of the "ghosting" particularly on his arms, is somewhat blurry. Otherwise good work! |

The sharpness/clarity in this image is outstanding; horses drivers and carriage I really like the composition with the horses coming directly towards the viewer. The background is great too, good detail and color which complements the subjects. I suppose you could crop the foreground or adjust the color but not by much.

Debbie....Gorgeous! The green branches behind the bird and the dark vignetting couldn't be improved upon. Fine focus and detail in the plumage. Your photo is a winner! |

An ice sculpture/carving....who would know. I really like the colors in the lower portion of the frame particularly the ball. I see good focus in that area. You never disappoint with your creativity. |

Nice sharp butterfly which looks well in either position. The color of the butterfly and the color of the background are complimentary to one another. With the suggested corrections regarding the leaf highlights you will have an excellent image. |

Varying textures, lines and color make this image. The simplicity of the ruler and pencil with just a bit of red is super. I also like your composition with the top of the ruler butted against the top of the frame. Keeps the viewer's eye from wandering. I think this simple image has a lot of impact.

Hi Charles, I like the "Lines of Support" photo and think the title is appropriate. You did a fine job of select focus. The slim diagonal white line against the colorful green is outstanding. To me, this is an image I would never tire of looking at. Good Work!
(I do like the cropped image Karen has submitted.) |

Regarding your comment on sharpening; I use Photoshop Elements and Nik software in post processing. Do you have any suggestions for settings in either program? |
