Debbie, I think you should look into entering some competitions. Your bird photography is really good! |

Unusual and interesting sculpture. I tend to agree with David in regards to the palm trees. Crop, crop. I assume you changed the image to B&W. I am wondering what the original looked like and thinking it might be a less "busy" photo with color. I see the nicely focused sculpture and too much of the same color in the background. Just a thought. |

Nice composition. I like the angle of the bison's head just turning toward the camera. The background is nicely blurred. I am in agreement with previous comments regarding the grass in front of the bison's nose. |

Interesting abstract. I like the yellow/orange of the flames against the black background. Good position in the frame. |

David....You could submit a photo of the Palouse frequently; it's a great encouragement for me to travel there. Thanks for the tour information. The colors, the texture in the grasses and the shadows are ever so nice. I like the composition with the sky, even though it's a great sky, being in the upper fourth of the photo allows the viewer a good look at the land formations. Fine work! |

Hi Shaikh...Wow! The colors are bright and fun. The viewer knows the colors are not realistic but why not exaggerate and give the old car a new life. I like it! The added driver on the "passenger" side of the vehicle is a plus. Setting is perfect; a good find. Only suggestion is to lighten the black grasses around the right wheel area. Kind of you to give the post processing directions. |

Debbie.....Excellent work! The texture you added is perfect. It enhances the entire image. Color blends in with the bird and the dried plant material so well. Your focus is sharp with the birds eye being visible. I also like the lighting with the resulting shadows.
In my opinion, your bird photographs are worthy of awards. Do you enter competitions? I can see this image on the cover of the PSA Journal. |

Karen, I like the original image minus the two red reflections. Very creative. |

Charles,
I admire your tenacity in your photography "work" although it must be pure joy for you. I like Original 2 best. I like the satin appearance of the pink leaf and the position of the stamen. Nice shadows, too. The blurry green background is complementary to the pink of the flower. |

Hi Jack,
Your wall image "works" for me. I like the colors and the various textures. The focus is sharp as demonstrated in the decorative band separating the red from the yellow and the strong textures in those particular colors. If you were to do any cropping, my opinion would be to crop from the top. However, nice as is. |

Hi Murphy,
What a difference in the original and the worked on image. Frost patterns are interesting enough by themselves. I do like what you have done. The colors are outstanding, they complement one another. I like the texture which gives a "grungy" look. It fits the image well. I think flipping the image was a good choice. I like the feather effect of the design being on the right edge of the frame. |
