Very creative and a beautiful image. The colours are bright and the image is sharp. It looks like a lot of work but it is very effective. Well done! |

It definitely fits the minimalist category. Adding the second strawberry works well. You said you used H&S to bring out the colour. Perhaps adding a bit more red would really make the strawberry pop. Our strawberries in season are usually quite red when ripe. Adding the key line finishes the image and should also reflect the darker red of the strawberry if you change it. Kurt has given you some good feedback. |

An unusual and attractive flower. The yellow really stands out. You did capture the texture and translucence of the flower. The leaf at the bottom right is still a bit bright. Perhaps toning it more or eliminating it in post processing would solve the issue. I did like Angela's cropping. It would bring the flower closer to the forefront. Very nice. |

An interesting photo that shows movement of the train and the height of the bridge. The steam adds to the story. The sky is bland. Perhaps you could have swapped a sky in Photoshop for example - using a photo of a sky that you have taken in the past. |

You did meet your goals of showing the spontaneity and the connection between mother and daughter. The smiles are great and add to the story.
Unfortunately, the image is not sharp, especially the faces which should be the focus. |

Beautiful scene. Bringing out the shadows really works well and shows more texture in the snow. The sun is a bit bright as that where the eye goes. Perhaps tone it down in post processing, e.g. Lightroom or Photoshop |

Thank you for your suggestion. Looking at it now I think I should've got down lower. The only problem with that is that it would not show the top of the cups as well. Yes, that is real Wedgewood. It is a tea set with a tea pot, sugar, and cream and 4 cups and saucers. A gift from my husband a number of years ago. I am usually afraid to use it so I wash it every couple times a year and put it back in the dining room hutch. A shame really. |
