It is a beautiful serene place - a nice reprieve from the cold winter weather we are experiencing at home (although it has been a mile winter so far). The blues are beautiful and clear and add to the image.
I agree with Angela's suggestions as the horizon is not straight. Perhaps you could straighten it in post process such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Nik Perspective etc.
There are some black and white spots in the water that are distracting and could have been removed in post (as it appears Angela has done).
Phones are amazing in what they can capture. |

A good capture of the woodpecker. It is not always easy to get the birds to sit still long enough to capture a sharp image. I agree with Angela's comments as it came out sharper. She suggested taking out the blob on the top left which much improved it. It was the first thing I noticed when I looked at your image. You did a good job of eliminating the dark spot on top right. |

The trees and wall frame the boats nicely. It is much more dramatic with the changes and especially the sepia. The lighting is much better in the final image. |

It is difficult to get everything sharp when they move so fast. You did a good job of getting two in one photo. Them being back to back is a little different but works well. The background is nicely muted and allows for separation of the subject. |

A nice simple subject which tells a story. I see you took Angela's suggestion and took out the reflection in the blue part. However, you might want to clone out the blotchy parts under the handle and at top of jug. You could have left the shadow from the handle. I agree that still life is not easy but it is fun to create different scenarios. I look forward to your next still life image. Do not give up on it. |
