Great action shot. The crop really made you focus on the interesting part of the image. The noise was reduced very well.
I shot as a volunteer photographer last summer at the Canada Summer Games in Niagara - my first experience at shooting several sports. What was I thinking?? It was a good learning experience but very different from macro or landscape photos.
I just finished watching a webinar by a professional sports photographer. I noticed that he shot with a wide open Aperture such as f2.8 and a fast shutter speed, such as 1/2000 and then adjusted his ISO according to the light and speed. I thought this was interesting and something I want to try. I noticed you have done this but perhaps lowering the ISO would have reduced the noise. I think you did very well. |

Thank you. That is an interesting observation and one I had not thought about. |

I just did it by eye - to see what looks good. I used PS transform to put them on an angle. |

That is a good suggestion. I know what it is but a viewer might not unless it was part of the title. I could have made the images smaller, used less of them or just used a subtle texture for the background. |

Good idea to have cropped the other duck out of the image - as it was too close to the edge. Flipping and cropping make this duck stand out. Using a faster shutter speed might have resulted in a sharper image of the duck. |

The Easter one was more useful to all of us. More applicable to what we want to create. |

Very nice work! The post processing you did works very well and very different from the black and white images that are more common. The sky is amazing. Good for you for trying infrared photography and challenging yourself. Like Angela, I have a filter but not as easy to use as a dedicated camera. |

Nice job of isolating him out of the original photo. The post processing you did works well. To add more space in the front of him, could you have added more canvas?
The "street photography" is sometimes a difficult genre but can result in some great photos. |

You have done a great job of post processing. I really like the final version as it is so clear and the colours pop. The square and the inner and outer frame add finishing touches. |

Great creative montage! What a nice keepsake of Gemma. The background ties it in all together.
I have taken a couple of E.J.Lazenby's challenges. They are challenging! And free!
I did the one at Christmas time which I really liked/ |
