According to my phone, they are Spur-winged Plovers (because of the spurs you describe?). My only suggestion would be to get low. It would have been nice to see the birds at ground level and hopefully capture the water in the background. Thanks for posting the original. I really like their yellow bills here. |

This is a very pretty spider. I agree with Dean regarding the light area. I think it adda to the photo. I would like to see more of the web he wove. Looks like an orchard orbweaver and their webs are very nice. |

Incredibly sharp image here. Only things I would consider is desaturation of the green grass and maybe adding a catchlight to define his eye. I had up to BC in a few weeks to hopefully capture some grizzlies (digitally). |

I really like the detail of the moon craters. Did you rotate this shot? Not sure if this is waxing or waning here, but I am used to seeing an image like this rotated 90deg. Was this handheld or on a tripod? |

This is a very nice shot of the puffin. With shots like this, I experiment with decreasing the green saturation and have that to make the subject stand out better. |
