Diane - I agree with the others and really like Pierre's suggestions. Spelling out these tips is so beneficial! My hunter husband taught me to take the photo (so you don't miss it), then slowly advance taking photos along the way. If you can do this from behind a tree or another cover, it really helps. Would like to see your original, too! |

I agree with removing the wasp. I do like the background as is. This is a beautiful photo! (I just returned from a cruise with a Cartagena stop, but unfortunately I did not bring a good camera. A good reason to return!) |

Definitely good for a cell phone. I think this bird is some type of Weaver species. With this background, I try desaturating the greens and see how that works. I might add catchlight to the eye as this is allowed in this group. Beautiful bird! |

I really like the capture of foreground, middle and distant. Black and white works great for this shot. I like the dark clouds. No clue about IR here. : ( |

I love the red-winged and this one's tail is great! I love the action of this photo. My only suggestion might be to crop with a little more sky above his head. I like the leading line by the stick. Nice. |
