Very whimsical photo! I really like the capture. My first response was wanting more space at the top. Not sure if the original had it or not. If not, you could clone in or even "heal" in to extend the photo. The other option is to crop out more of the bottom. Thanks for the interesting information about the tortoise. That really adds to the picture. |

I like the darker version. I almost always have to bring down the highlights in Camera Raw. I also set the white and black points using the slider while holding the option key and sliding until the black or white just fades into dark. Using the upper right and left boxes on the editing tools panel also lets me know what is blown out or totally black. Not sure it these are tips you can use, but they are my go to on almost every photo.
Very nice subject, too! These pre-historic creatures are just awe-inspiring to me. |

I agree with the guys, but really like the upper chickadee's wings. Almost angelic! Nice editing.

Mervyn - I cropped the tail to draw attention to the action and because the tail wasn't very colorful. My crop did not bother me, but thank you for your version to consider. I appreciate your time. Cindy |

Thanks! Focus on the action was really what I wanted. Posts, rails, feeders are a nuisance - but that's where the birds are! |
