Jaswant - Thanks! This is all of this composition that I captured; no cropping. I think maybe had there been a leaf on the other side to balance the one here, it might have looked nice. |

Mervyn - Same here, so it was unusual to notice this fallen tree. |

Sadly, this is an uncropped photo. Only took a single shot this time. |

Nope. That never occurs to me. I learned in class to always start with B&W to see contrasts, etc. Maybe I'll remember in the future. |

Welcome! Beautiful shot. The tree itself with the white branch leading into the frame is so nice, I might have cropped out some of the reflection so the focus is on the actual tree. That would probably get rid of the grass, too. Looking forward to seeing more photos from Australia! |

I agree on a tighter crop, but I tend to do that with most of my photos. I need to find AI blur in PhotoShop - thanks for the tip! |

Love duck photography! Yes, getting lower and cropping out the water at the bottom so the ice is what you see in the foreground might look better. |

I like this focus and I really like the contrast of colors. I might have considered changing the color in the upper right to a shade of yellow to compliment the rest of the photo. |

I must agree that my first impression was that the photo was over-sharpened. But I love the action and I see how fast you had to shoot to capture that. Nice. |
