Mervyn - Thanks! Yes, lots of feeder, but I think that was the draw for these birds so I could get this shot.

You must have been fairly close to get this shot at 370mm! I would have probably used a little noise reduction to smooth things out some. And the shot from behind is interesting. Too bad the little one in the rear didn't turn to the camera! |

Bees in flight are always a challenge and especially on a cell phone. The light is good, as it looks like a sunny day yet you captured no harsh shadows. |

I really like this shot. I would like to see the original, too. I think B&W is nice here. |

Nice shot. I cannot imagine seeing 3 pileated together! I have no trouble with the background and I really like the blurry blue in upper left and I like the way the crisp wings stand out against the dark background. A tree shot would be ideal, but I think she looks great at the suet. |
