Really like this one and so glad you waited to capture it - I am not that patient! The brilliant colors are good and the black body parts, especially the antenna, are great. I like the crop. After seeing the insect itself, my eyes flowed from lower right to upper left, ending with admiration for the green buds not yet blooming. Nice job! |

Love redheads! I agree with Melvyn to darken the trunk and create more contrast. I like the crop. |

Love the color of your oystercatchers. I do wish the back bird were in focus or at least more in focus. I probably would have tried to clone out the shadows in the sand, but purely my preference. I like how the baby's eye almost looks like he is looking to the side, waiting for the tidbit of food. Another great photo! |
