Mervyn - I actually prefer your original crop. While the bird's movement is to the left, he looks like he might actually be beginning a somersault and not in need of a place to go to the left. Nice photo. |

Ken - welcome! I agree with all Mervyn said and I love this photo! A great composition is captured and that's always a challenge in Nature. |

Pierre - Very nice and unusual photo! Made me smile.
Just returned from Marco. Tried to hit the Nature Preserve on Sanibel, but it is still closed. The PSA Journal came just before I left and the article by Erik Rosengren was fantastic! I will submit photos taken last week in the next few months. The Marsh Trail he describes was so, so good! My 3rd trip there, a roseate spoonbill preened for almost an hour and it was a lovely sight to shoot! |

Pierre - Actually don't remember if the glass was tinted, but I think probably not. Thanks for your input. |

Thanks for your suggestions. Yes, the mom orangutan was not looking at the baby. I kept part of the mom's face for orientation, so the viewer could see he was holding onto mom.
The original I sent was mistakenly a RAW file, so here it is. |
