24 Jan 24 Comment Good suggestions by Frank so I won't repeat. Jan 8th
24 Jan 24 Comment I agree with the above but chose to take a little path. I selected the flower and then selected inverse. I then blurred the background and made the flower the unfettered subject.
What do you think?

24 Jan 24 Comment I couldn't offer any suggestions to improve this one if I went hunting for some. It's beautiful. Jan 8th

24 Jan 24 Comment The flower is beautiful but wanted to give it a bit of a punch so Increased the vibrance on the flower and decreased it on the background but I think it makes a bit of a change. What do you think? Jan 8th

48 Jan 24 Comment I would have loved the experience as much as I love the image. I don't do high key as I'm not really sure as where to start but I most certainly appreciate the result.

May I offer a non-photo suggestion for the future if you didn't think of it first. I've had several similar instances recently and found that I go oon Amazon and send a thank you from Amazon in the form of a fruit platter, a gift card, etc. as token of appreciation for having been gifted with whatever was done for me and shocking appreciation is so nice and often passed on. Or, just send the guy some award winning photos. Works wonders.

48 Jan 24 Comment I absolutely love this image. I wish we had some of these around here. Seems I see the same flowers everywhere, every ay. So well done. Jan 8th

58 Jan 24 Reply Thank you. As I am new to this group, I wanted to be sure to get an image in on time at the same time that my husband fell and wound up in the hospital so I probably overlooked too much. I do appreciate all the comments and will certainly try to do better next month. Jan 24th

58 Jan 24 Reply In retrospect I agree. Thanks for the input Jan 18th
58 Jan 24 Comment Interesting photo but I, too, prefer the color verson for Isaac's color version. Jan 8th
58 Jan 24 Comment I wish there had been a way to shoot at a slightly different angle to eliminate that ugly pole Jan 8th
58 Jan 24 Comment It is amazing how the mind works. My first reaction to this was that this was a cop looking through the glass at the fellow on the other side. Interesting subject technially photographically correct and good subject for discussion.
Well done

58 Jan 24 Comment I love the images that take me to one of the few places that I never got to visit. I keep hoping that maybe some day but approaching 86 I doubt it so I'll continue in photography Jan 8th
58 Jan 24 Comment Fabulous street shoot. Story is so apropos to the action and the photographic is technically as good as it gets. Jan 8th
58 Jan 24 Comment Canon T2I /Tamron 16-300 77mm -=1/200 sec-f 7.1 - ISO 400 - 72 dpi
My other two groups rarely offer metadata so I often overlook it. Thanks for the reminder
