Thanks. As I said before, it was a good lesson for me in that if it "ain't broke don't fix it" |

Thanks to all. I think the motto to this is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". |

I always welcome any feedback from any point of view and certainly you can if you wish save any of my images and play with them. If I can ever help you with some of the things I do, I am always happy to share |

More my cup of tea so to speak. Just sharpened the flower a bit and increased the vibrance and saturation. |

My pleasure. And just to get away from flowers for a moment, I would appreciate if you took a few minutes to check out my image this month in group 48. I'm in the process of learning how to work with masks and that is the result so far. Looking for whatever input I can get, positive or negative. |

Beautiful image and extremely well done. Just a hint..sometimes with a background that's similar to this I will enlarge the image quite a bit just to check for artifacts as my eyes are not what they used to be and these miniscule artifacts are sometimes excellent "hiders". |

Love the flower but felt it needed something to "pop" a bit so I added a touch of vibrance and saturation to the center. What is your take on the change? |

Interesting composition. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that I was always taught in every photography class or seminar was to never have a torn leaf in flower photography. On that basis I wonder if you would consider filling in the right side of that leaf to make it complete |

As I am partial to color when it comes to flowers, I'm going to take a pass on this one other than to comment that the composition appears to be quite interesting. |

Just out of curiosity, I checked Amazon and they have a very interesting assortment of scanners starting at less than $ 100. Good Luck |

Just saw your comment about you not having a slice scanner. My husband has one and they do a great job, are quite easy to use and relatively inexpensive. Good luck with a new toy |

When I opened the image that window shouted look at me. I found it distracted me from the overall image so I did a content-aware-fill and got rid of it. What do you think? |

This was a grab shot at a Renaissance fair and I guess in a way it was meant to be an informal portrait shot, definitely not a posed one. Thanks for the visit and your valuable comments. Please continue to visit whenever you can. |

I find this a very interesting image. Wouldn't suggest any changes; but, being interested in finding new backgrounds and textures, I've created a so called library. On that note I decided to use your colors to create a background texture that I thought might be of interst for you. |

This is a great image and I had fun playing with the masking techniques that I've been learning and increased the brightness a bit around the skimmer which helped open his eye and bring the attention to the animal. What do you think? |

Excellent composition and sharpness; but, I often rely on my favorite adjustments...vibrance and saturation, to make things pop and that's what I did here. What do you think? |

Nice image but I thought it could use a bit more "pop" so I added a bit of vibrance and saturation and using the "new" masking techniques I've been working on took a bit of yellow out of the face to make it look a bit more natural. What do you think? |

Thanks so much. I really liked the result and appreciate the few changes you made. After my friend "the portrait photographer" told me how terrible it was, I was really down and needed this lift. |

Understood. But might I then suggest, if it is allowed, that you darken the image enough so that the red doesn't stand out quite as much |
