24 Jul 23 Comment Thanks. As I said before, it was a good lesson for me in that if it "ain't broke don't fix it" Jul 27th
24 Jul 23 Comment Thanks to all. I think the motto to this is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Jul 14th
24 Jul 23 Reply glad you like it Jul 10th
24 Jul 23 Reply I always welcome any feedback from any point of view and certainly you can if you wish save any of my images and play with them. If I can ever help you with some of the things I do, I am always happy to share Jul 10th
24 Jul 23 Reply More my cup of tea so to speak. Just sharpened the flower a bit and increased the vibrance and saturation. Jul 10th
24 Jul 23 Reply My pleasure. And just to get away from flowers for a moment, I would appreciate if you took a few minutes to check out my image this month in group 48. I'm in the process of learning how to work with masks and that is the result so far. Looking for whatever input I can get, positive or negative. Jul 10th
24 Jul 23 Reply my pleasure Jul 8th
24 Jul 23 Reply PERFECT! Jul 8th
24 Jul 23 Comment Beautiful image and extremely well done. Just a hint..sometimes with a background that's similar to this I will enlarge the image quite a bit just to check for artifacts as my eyes are not what they used to be and these miniscule artifacts are sometimes excellent "hiders". Jul 8th
24 Jul 23 Comment Love the flower but felt it needed something to "pop" a bit so I added a touch of vibrance and saturation to the center. What is your take on the change? Jul 8th
24 Jul 23 Comment Interesting composition. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that I was always taught in every photography class or seminar was to never have a torn leaf in flower photography. On that basis I wonder if you would consider filling in the right side of that leaf to make it complete Jul 8th
24 Jul 23 Comment As I am partial to color when it comes to flowers, I'm going to take a pass on this one other than to comment that the composition appears to be quite interesting. Jul 8th
24 Jul 23 Comment I agree with Pinaki, this really needs to be sharpened. Jul 8th
24 Jul 23 Comment Your texture background was a perfect choice and you did a great job on sharpeningf 9f the flower. Beautiful Jul 8th

41 Jul 23 Reply Just out of curiosity, I checked Amazon and they have a very interesting assortment of scanners starting at less than $ 100. Good Luck Jul 18th

41 Jul 23 Comment Just saw your comment about you not having a slice scanner. My husband has one and they do a great job, are quite easy to use and relatively inexpensive. Good luck with a new toy Jul 18th
41 Jul 23 Comment Just added a touch of vibrance and saturation. What do you think? Jul 10th

42 Jul 23 Comment When I opened the image that window shouted look at me. I found it distracted me from the overall image so I did a content-aware-fill and got rid of it. What do you think? Jul 10th

48 Jul 23 Reply This was a grab shot at a Renaissance fair and I guess in a way it was meant to be an informal portrait shot, definitely not a posed one. Thanks for the visit and your valuable comments. Please continue to visit whenever you can. Jul 10th
48 Jul 23 Reply thank you Jul 10th
48 Jul 23 Reply You're welcome. That's the beauty for me of all of the study groups and I encourage all of my groups to visit other groups for the learning experiences on both ends. Jul 9th
48 Jul 23 Reply Call me tomorrow I'll be home all day and I'll give you whatever you want 561-752-3992 Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Reply so easy to do. if you'd like some of my library, let me know Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Comment Phenomenal image. Images like this one are probably keep us all shooting at everything in sight waiting for images like these. Well done. Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Comment I find this a very interesting image. Wouldn't suggest any changes; but, being interested in finding new backgrounds and textures, I've created a so called library. On that note I decided to use your colors to create a background texture that I thought might be of interst for you. Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Comment This is a great image and I had fun playing with the masking techniques that I've been learning and increased the brightness a bit around the skimmer which helped open his eye and bring the attention to the animal. What do you think? Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Comment Excellent composition and sharpness; but, I often rely on my favorite adjustments...vibrance and saturation, to make things pop and that's what I did here. What do you think? Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Comment As usual just beautiful Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Comment Nice image but I thought it could use a bit more "pop" so I added a bit of vibrance and saturation and using the "new" masking techniques I've been working on took a bit of yellow out of the face to make it look a bit more natural. What do you think? Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Reply thank you Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Reply Not any more. We were out together recently and frankly, I think my results on those were every bit as good as his but he didn't agree. Jul 8th
48 Jul 23 Comment Jul 7th
48 Jul 23 Reply I just got off a zoom with the gentleman who was kind enough to get me hooked on working with masks and made some adjustments. Jul 7th
48 Jul 23 Comment Thanks so much. I really liked the result and appreciate the few changes you made. After my friend "the portrait photographer" told me how terrible it was, I was really down and needed this lift. Jul 1st

82 Jul 23 Reply As I don't submit to any of those categories, I'm not familiar with the requirements. Thank you for the information Jul 11th
82 Jul 23 Reply Understood. But might I then suggest, if it is allowed, that you darken the image enough so that the red doesn't stand out quite as much Jul 11th
82 Jul 23 Comment I'm always a sucker for great flowers and this certainly fills the bill. Jul 10th
82 Jul 23 Comment The overall image is great but I did find the tourists with their bright red backpacks a distraction so I cloned them out. Overall a wonderful story. Jul 10th
