It may not be too long before I follow in your footsteps. I have been so disgusted with some of our judges lately, I often feel that I'm chasing rainbows for nothing. |

Thanks so much. I am a bit limited with my lens but will certainly do my best or start carrying an extra lens or two. |

In response to all, I changed the background and wonder what you think of this as opposed to the green. |

I'm not familiar with ICM so I'm kind of at a loss to be objective about this image. I am, personally, not a fan of much abstract so I will excuse myself on this so that I am not unjustly unfair. |

I decided to look at this again and yes I still prefer the darker background but decided to add a touch of vibrance and saturation the subject. What do you think? |

I love the flower, color combo is perfect, but as you know our tastes vary a bit and I wish that the whole flower was sharp. As they say "different strokes for different folks". |

I had a hard time deciding whether I preferred the original or the finished creation as they are both beautiful. I think I like the finished one for its subtle feeling |

I much prefer the black background but based on our club judges recently, it's not necessarily the way to go. |

I understand what you were trying to do, but my personal preference is the color version which to me, almost looks like a flower of some kind |

Beautiful panorama. Reminds me why I always think of how much we enjoyed our New England Fall Foliage tour many years ago with friends. |

Without knowing that this is a leaf, I would have considered it part of an abstract collection. Nice texture and subtle coloring. Well done. |

Wonderful image. I've spent too much time at car museums and leaving empty handed or empty lensed so I'll leave this category to people like you who come up with something this good. |

What I did was select the hot spot and just adjusted the brightness down and then just lightened up the other paw just a tad. What do you think? |

You're right on the paw but that's probably a non destructive layer mask on the hotspot. I'll try to work on it later today and re-post as for the moment my eyes are telling me to walk away from this machine |

This is a wonderful collage. I have Luminar and start learning to use it again. I am almost completely a photoshop user and am totally enamored with their support. I stopped using Luminar because I thought they went to a subscription basis. |

This image reminds me of grandma babysitting and thinking "Oh my God what do I do with them now that mom is off working" Wonderful opportunity to create a myriad of stories and extremely well captured situation. |

It took quite a bit of work but I was able to pretty much eliminate the one car in front of the building with several content aware fill actions. I think that makes the cars to the left a bit less obtrusive because the focus is more drawn to the building without that car in front. Remember this is not perfect, but with more time and work it could be much better. What do you think? |

These images make jealous but at my stage of the game, I think a drone would be underutilized for the cost. Lovely image and very interesting story. |

The story although a sad one adds to the image. The image is very well done; however, I find the wide white border a distraction..see my suggestion attached. And although belated, please accept my condolences on the loss of your son. |

To me, he almost looks as if he's smiling at you. Great image. I don't mind the turn of the plant because when we were in Costa Rica, if I remember correctly, I commented on the "twist" of much of the vegitation. |

Great image. As to the eyes, if you master puppet work in Photoshop it should work. One application I have never had the patience to do. One of these days.... |

To me this is a story of love. I took the image into Photoshop just to enlarge the "thing" on top of dad's head because of the comments about it. On a closer look, it appears to me to be part of his hairdo. I would get rid of a few of the spots that are in very close to him at the waters edge. I do find the enhancements made by others to the sand tones a nice improvement |
