I just did that. I commented on the group website...I love the image. The only thing I did was to drop the brightness just a miniscule amount to make it stand out a bit more. What do you think? |

I like the image very much and my take on the position is that I prefer it as submitted. For me it feels that someone might peeking in from the lower right corner and looking up to the main flower. |

It's a lovely flower, but in this view I believe the whole flower should be sharp and it isn't. Too much of a blur at the base for me. |

The image is right on. The only suggestion I would make would be to crop or clone out that little "bump" at the very top. The bug doesn't bother me at all. |

On the updated image that I sent Margaret I don't see the blown out areas but that may be as a result of my 84 year old eyes. If you would be kind enough to point them out, I would be most grateful. I plan to adjust or eliminate the red inner border following Margaret's comment as well re that. Thanks for your input. |

Take a look at Marie Altenburg's website. She just came out with some fabulous textures that would probably work fabulously well with this image I will probably buy that set tomorrow and update my comments on this after I work with them a bit |

This is a great image Paul. My only concern if you put it into a competition is hearing the judge saying that they should be running to you not away. I still think it's great. |

The flower is beautiful but I find the background unimpressive. If you are allowed to replace it in a nature category, take a look at Marie Altenburg's website at some of her textures. They are phenomenal. |

The flower itself is beautiful but I find the "extras" somewhat distracting. I eliminated them and cropped it down to the flower. Please forgive the upper right corner of cloning but I am commenting on images as I'm reviewing all the groups for participation so I thought I'd give you an idea of what I meant and continue on to the remaining 30+ groups. |
