32 Oct 21 Comment What a creative group this is. I will have to start hunting through my husband's closet for photographable treasures. This is so well done that I'm jealous. Oct 18th
32 Oct 21 Comment This is a lovely image. There is nothing further than what has been said.

That being said, I would like to congratulate all of the members of this group for all of your suggestions and comments. This is what Digital Dialog is all about. I wish we could get all of our groups to review and comment on the images in their groups as well as in other groups. Well done to all of you.

32 Oct 21 Comment Nice image of a handsome young man. Oct 18th

37 Oct 21 Reply Well deserved Oct 17th
37 Oct 21 Comment I have seen many pictures of this building, but this one is probably one of he best. Oct 17th
37 Oct 21 Comment You did a superb job on this. I agree with Ham. Right now, it looks like the house was pasted on a black background. I would either leave some of the original image of clone in some dead grass or straw. Oct 17th

38 Oct 21 Comment I just googled Red Square but it's really immaterial. I love the image. Oct 17th
38 Oct 21 Comment I love the image. However, I thought that I remembered that the actual location of the buildings, etc, was reversed as to how you pictured it. So I went online and researched images of Red Square and my memory isn't as bad as I thought it is. I've submitted your image in reverse. Oct 17th

39 Oct 21 Comment Love this image. Very well done. Oct 17th

40 Oct 21 Comment Almost an exact duplicate of one I took of my now 28 year old granddaughter that I cherish and smile every time that I look at it. Very well done. Oct 17th
40 Oct 21 Comment I love what you have done with this image. As to sharpening, try Topaz Sharpen AI it does a great job. I also use Topaz Studio 2 - Filters (across the top) - Stylistic - Smudge. For me it does a great job as well. Good Luck Oct 17th
40 Oct 21 Comment Love this image. Reminds me of my childhood in New York City, where we often had pigeons visiting us either on the sidewalk and often in the park. To our parents they were a nuisance. Beautiful image. Oct 17th

48 Oct 21 Reply Thanks Steve Oct 19th
48 Oct 21 Comment I am actually very happy when someone else sees my image as soft. My eyes are not what they were 50 years ago so anything to help is thoroughly appreciated. And, that's what study groups are for. Oct 9th
48 Oct 21 Comment The sign is great but adding in the people, the hint of the activity and excitement tell a great story. Well Done! Oct 9th
48 Oct 21 Comment I thought I commented on this a couple of days ago... At any rate, here I am. Love it. Lloyd's flip is the perfect touch to a great image Oct 9th
48 Oct 21 Comment I give up. I just spent almost an hour trying to create what I had in mind and PS is laughing at me. What I did accomplish was to clean out everything behind the second arch (probably the bottom of the trap) and attempted to get a rougher sea in that space. That would have eliminated the third semicircle back of the trap but left the image less cluttered. Less authentic, but less cluttered as well. I tried every trick I could think of - layers, layer masks, erasing, you name it. So you'll have to use your imagination and see if it is something you might want to try and succeed better than I did. Oct 9th
48 Oct 21 Comment This image is lovely. Love the bright colors. And, Lloyd how about a lesson in using a diffuser. Feel free to go to the bulletin board and offer us all some hints, or at least for me who has never used one. Thanks. Oct 9th
48 Oct 21 Comment Beautiful image. I would like to see this in a panorama format and since the location and size of that greenery in the right is a bit too powerful for me, I've included a suggested change. Let me know what you think. Oct 9th
48 Oct 21 Reply Try this is it any better? Oct 4th
48 Oct 21 Reply Thanks Tom. I do like it the way it is and can easily correct that light spot. Oct 4th
48 Oct 21 Reply Not a problem,, just an opportunity for me to tease someone Oct 2nd
48 Oct 21 Reply I'm glad I'm not the only one confused...I'm not Margaret.

I have Studio 2 which includes A1 sharpen, but I actually use Smudge for sharpening because it does such a great job. If you have Studio 2- across the top towards the in the black bar, you will find filters. Click on that, go down to stylistic and then move down to smudge and open that...you'll see a few things that are very useful,
Oct 2nd
48 Oct 21 Comment Thanks Gary. For me it's a very worthwhile investment. I use it on almost every image as the sharpening is probably the best I've worked with. Take a look at their website and if you want to buy it, let me know as I have a discount code floating around in one of my files. Oct 2nd

50 Oct 21 Comment Of the three I like your original best of all. Oct 11th
50 Oct 21 Comment This abstract is very interesting, but for me it loses the identity of a cathedral. When I opened the issue the outside light coming in defined it as a cathedral, but when I came to the final image, it turned into an abstract. Although well done, I prefer the original. Oct 9th

58 Oct 21 Comment Isaac, this is a wonderful image that needs almost nothing more to tell the story. Your history brings the whole scenario to life. Oct 9th
58 Oct 21 Comment Great image and so apropos of the time. I am thoroughly convinced that my granddaughter's (age 15) phone must have been glued to her finger tips (texting) at birth. I saw it with the older one (now 28) and it's only worse with the younger one. Oct 9th
58 Oct 21 Comment Fabulous image and taken in one of the places I always wanted to visit and never got to. Oct 9th

65 Oct 21 Comment Love her. I almost get the feeling that she's looking at me asking me "What are you looking at?" So expressive. Oct 9th

67 Oct 21 Comment I wonder if you did some work on the trees in the background, they appear kind of jumbled together and not quite sharp. The image is lovely but, not to be picky, that greenery on the upper left is a bit distracting to me Oct 10th
67 Oct 21 Comment The owl in flight is a great image; however, I feel that an bird in flight should be flying in the sky, so I replaced your background with a sky. I'm not great at arranging and re-arranging light, but I think this might be an improvement. Oct 10th

69 Oct 21 Comment Great image as usual Oct 10th

71 Oct 21 Comment I think this is a great capture, but if it were my choice I would have eliminated the lights from the helicopter as I find them distracting. This is an image where you want nothing to distract from the solemnity of the memorial. Oct 10th
71 Oct 21 Comment I love this image. I did crop it which made the surfer more visible. However, I find the sharpening that Stu did is too much. The waves exhibit too much grain Oct 10th
71 Oct 21 Comment This image caught my eye immediately as my daughter's name is Michele - same spelling - which, when I named her was an oddity for a female with one L.
You did accomplish getting all the colors; but, for me the image doesn't have a point of attraction. I think possibly had you shot it from a bit further away you could have accomplished your goal and got the appearance a bit less 'jumbled'

80 Oct 21 Comment Very interesting image. I took the liberty of brightening it just a bit, which I think is an improvement. Oct 26th
80 Oct 21 Comment I've seen so much discussion as to what is street photography ...is it an individual image, a small group of people, a building you pass while taking a walk, etc.? Certainly we can use the bulletin board if you'd care to start a dialog with the group members. And you are right about cropping the top. Thanks. Oct 7th
80 Oct 21 Comment Love it! Right place at the right time. Oct 3rd
80 Oct 21 Comment Great catch. And your description is so apropos Oct 3rd
80 Oct 21 Comment Interesting how we read different things into the same subject. To me, this is a homeless person who may have found a shady spot to grab some sleep undisturbed.
The image is very well done and tells whatever story one reads into it.

81 Oct 21 Reply Try Japan for the winner. We were in a hotel and the men walked in to the lobby, took off their masks and immediately lit their cigarettes. Couldn't last in the lobby for long till one got smoked out. Oct 9th
81 Oct 21 Comment I agree with Angela so a quick fill with Content Aware Fill eliminated it. I just wish the title were more ominous Oct 9th
81 Oct 21 Comment The trick is to take them out of the pack and try to keep them straight! They're sure to not comply.

However this is fantastic. I envy your patience.

87 Oct 21 Comment You got a great capture and found the perfect sky to enhance it. Just for the fun of it, I thought I'd try one of the skies included in PS Creative Cloud subscription and see what you think. I absolutely do not want you to even think that I am denigrating your image..I love it, but I felt like playing so here goes Oct 9th
87 Oct 21 Comment Nice image. I never got quite this good at capturing any of the New York bridges as we never thought of stopping along the way somewhere to compose the image. My loss. Oct 9th
87 Oct 21 Comment This is really a great image. Love the smile as well as the reflection in the water. Save this you'll find yourself going back to it years later and remembering the moment. Oct 3rd

90 Oct 21 Comment This is a beautiful image. However, with this kind of image it would be useful for those who are "flower people" to know the details of creating the final. Did you use a texture, or was this the existing background? Did you enhance the original? What were your settings, etc.? Oct 3rd

92 Oct 21 Reply You are welcome. Great image. Oct 3rd
92 Oct 21 Comment I love this image. I just feel it needed a touch more oomph so I went into photoshop and went to image-adjust-vibrance-saturation and increased the saturation just a small bit only on the subject. Oct 3rd

95 Oct 21 Comment Just gorgeous Perfectly sharp center which is the key in this case, surrounded by sharp leaves all around. Oct 3rd
95 Oct 21 Comment I think I might have preferred a bit more depth but that's a personal taste. The image is beautiful as is Oct 3rd

99 Oct 21 Comment It never ceases to amaze me how much some images are improved by a conversion to monochrome. Well done Oct 3rd
99 Oct 21 Comment The subject is interesting, but I think it would have stood out better in color. I find the blurred background somewhat distracting and think the bee would have been a better contrast against color Oct 3rd
99 Oct 21 Comment What a great image. I don't think it needs anything in the way of improvement. The change of background is perfect and the monochrome is undoubtedly a winner. Oct 3rd
