If you need to replace your monitor check Amazon. Bought an ACER 27" it was the least expensive of everyone and I absolutely love it. |

Growing up on Long Island, I haven't been to the Bronx Zoo in more than 50 years but I'm assuming it is still one of the best. This image is well done, but I do prefer Sol's rendition. It just makes the gharials stand out more. |

I'm not sure what the white dots are. I'm guessing it might be water, but I'd try to eliminate them. They don't add anything to the image and they almost appear as unwanted artifacts. I did get rid of some of them with content-aware fill but then my photoshop went nuts so I couldn't finish the job but I think you get the idea |

This is something that in my wildest dreams, I would never think of photographing. But that's me...I'll photograph most anything but limit my squeamish things to the thousands of Florida geckos. Phenomenal result here.. |

You did an amazing job of improving the image, but although it's a lovely landscape, my initial reaction was that something is missing. I wonder how it would do in a competition. |

The image is a wonderful action shot but I find the child a bit over-sharpened. I do find the background choice a bit confusing, which might have added to your poor reviews. I think a better choice might have have been a pool or beach background. |

To me there is something haunting about her face. She appears to be concentrating on something, or lost in her own world. I, too, wonder why you chose the least "decorated" woman to photograph. Very interesting image. |

For me, Gary's edit is right on. The story behind the image is a real "upper".. so nice to find people in this world who give back after huge success. |

Beautiful image. I would echo Oliver's comments and rendition of the sky. As to your comment re PSA, I can only tell you that if you take advantage of all of the free opportunities that the organization offers, I know that you will find it a very rewarding experience. |

As I don't eat eggs because I can't tolerate the taste of eggs alone, I wouldn't consider creating something like this, but it certainly makes an inviting image. Everything here is right on! Well done. |

Beautifully done rose. Colors and lighting right on. That tiny bit of green at the bottom keeps the rose from floating in air. |

John, I much prefer the original; however, I took that one into photoshop and added a slightly different sky. What do you think? |

I love the sky but found the rock formation a bit overpowering so I tried two crops but kept enough of the rocks to create a frame. What do you think? |

Very interesting take. I do not mind at all that you played with it. I wish more group members in all the groups would do that. I have mixed thoughts about the grain but love how it jumps out. Looks like you enhanced the colors even more. Thanks. |

Topaz has many different filters all with the object of improving your images. Take a look at their website and if you decide you want to purchase one, I would suggest focusing on Studio 2 for a starter. If you want one I'll send you a discount code. Just let me know. |

Very interesting take on a cactus. I do, however, agree with Mary re the center. May I suggest that you include your original when making major changes as it makes it much easier for the reviewer to compare the difference and offer creative suggestions. |

This is a beautiful scene, but for me, the problem is you have two centers of interest--the lower left hand corner and the background and very bright grass pulling my attention away from the corner. I honestly have no suggestions as to how to improve it but would like to hear from the others for suggestions. |

Great action shot! I eliminated everything above the fence as I felt it really had nothing to do with the image and at the same time created a panorama effect. |

I, too found the tree a bit overpowering so I just cropped it enough to keep the "frame" effect but not distract from the flower which is the main subject You might even try reducing the brightness of the tree to see if that's more pleasing |

I guess I've gotten I little "hard nosed" because I've seen several times when images were rejected in club competitions as copying someone else's art. I haven't really considered buildings as someone's art, but I agree that becomes another whole discussion. And then comes the issue of the graffiti which is probably technically someone else's art. You are absolutely right....open of lot's of discussions |

It's a very good example of street photography. I did, however, find the lights a bit bright so with a non destructive layer mask I toned them down a bit and brightened up her apron to add a bit of contrast to the image. Well done. |

This is a great street photography image. I just felt it lacked a little bit of contrast, maybe a bit of brightness missing. I duplicated the image layer and then did a non destructive layer mask, brightening the people a bit and toning down most of the brick and cement. What do you think? |

I find this very interesting. Photographically it is very well done on your part. However, as you feel very strongly about people in street photography, I feel strongly regarding photographing someone else's art; which, by the way, is not acceptable in most competitions. I do very much like your composition of the fence and the building (?) on the left. |
