Adorable image. Will I be jailed if I steal the idea one of these days?
Well done. |

As transplanted New Yorker, living there when Mario Cuomo was governor, this image is not only lovely but it touches my heart. They say you can take the kid out of NY but you can never take NY out of the kid. That's me.
This image is extremely well done and very pleasing to the eye. Nice! |

True to your talent and style, this is exquisite. I did attempt to put work up Mark's suggestion of moving the image a bit to the right to visualize it; however, I've been having problem after problem with my computer and it refused to open the image "due to a computer problem" I tried to visualize and tend to agree because as it stands the vase is pretty much dead ceneter. |

This is a great catch and an excellent result.
BTW Did I ever ask you, are any relation to an Evelyn Bodkin in New York, who was a psychologist? |

I'm so jealous. As an 18 year Floridian I so miss these kind of images. I often think of the one image I missed on a clear very cold post rain day that in my head I named "Ice Forest" but alas! I did not have a camera with me and that was before cell phone days.
Anyhow, I love this image and will eternally jealous! |

This is a great street image. I did take it into photoshop and did a content aware fill action, not only on the sign but on that heavy pole on the extreme right as well. I hope I didn't overdo it. |

This is a great street image and your choice of cropping the image puts the artist in the right place at the right time. Well one.

The complementary colors make this "viewer attracting" image. I did ponder over "as is" or panoramic effect and I think I prefer the panoramic bringing the viewer closer into the image. Well done

Wow! What a masterful image you have created. Takes me right back to some of the castles we visited while touring Europe years ago. Extremely well done. |

This is a beautiful shot. I am not a cell phone photographer. Although I have an Android I never added any of the aps as I am spoiled with my 23" monitor and am more comfortable with Photoshop, but am always amazed at some of the images shown in our camera club that have been produced by cell phones.
I must say, I am not in total agreement with Julie as to re-placing the statue in relation to the sun as I like that bright spot. I wonder what your other group members think |

Couldn't ask for a better silhouette. It's almost as if the sky stopped to provide you with a beautiful background. Very well done. |

This image is a very true to life depiction of our times....too much of "old beauty" going to decay, religion becoming less formal, etc. The image is very well done and leaves a lot open for discussion. |

This is a lovely image, however I thought it might benefit from a bit of contrast and based on the brightness of the time it was shot, I was kind of looking for a bright sky peeking through. So I used a non destructive layer mask to adjust the brightness in some spots and then chose a sky from my files and pasted the image on top of the appropriately sized sky. I then erased the white skies where I could and adjusted the opacity of the bottom layer (which was the sky) which was a bit too dark for the mood. I hope you like the "improvement". |

So story of our times. To have the rabbits pop a bit, I darkened the background and then brightened just a bit. Hope you like the result. |

I love the images that are taken in Japan. The artistry of the Japanese people is amazing. I do feel, however, that in this particular image, the greenery in the foreground is a bit overpowering, so I opened it in Photoshop and created a non destructive layer mask. I darkened the foreground foliage, brightened the bridge and with the new sky replacement changed the sky from somewhat drab to a brighter morning sun. Hope you like it. |

Jean, I played with this a bit and the first thing I did was, using transform/skew converted it to less of a square format providing more of a leading lines effect. I, too, removed the upper left corner black spot. I do like the color rendition better but was unsuccessful in removing the blue. (I haven't perfected that technique in my own images either). Overall, it is a nice image. |

This image is a bit too dark for my taste. I think you might do well if you selectively brightened a leaf or two. |

This is an image I never would have thought of shooting and your result proved me so very wrong. True the original was a bit over cluttered but I do really like the one submitted by Miriam.
Sorry Tom, yours, in my eye, is a lovely image but Miriam's really makes those shades stand out. |

What I did a was duplicate the one swan and moved him over o the left side to make the image more compact and then cropped off the right side which became extraneous. Personally, I like the original better because its a more true to life version of how I often see people in a zoo |

In response to Victor... I didn't translate because Cachito in English has two meanings and I wasn't really sure which translation to use to be accurate.

I took a slightly different approach. I felt that cropping took away to much of the space into which they were heading; so, instead I brought the image into photoshop and just cut the brightness on the gentleman so the ladies stand out more. What do you think? |

Brings me back to our visit to the Pike Street Market before our cruise to Alaska. I very much agree with Victor's crop. That was my first instinct before I read further. A bit too much as it is and a bit too confusing. |

Ed, I like this image, but I have really would like to read the rest of that sign. At first look, I didn't associate the image with outdoor dining but rather a "You break I fix" place.
At any rate the image itself is a winner. |

Nice image Bill. Their curiosity about the birds is obviously the subject of the image and it leaves one wondering what is so attractive that they are so wrapped up in about a couple of birds. Well done. |
