This is beautiful. I have just begun playing with textures on my flowers so I can really appreciate the work that went into it, let alone lying on your back on what was probably wet ground. Well Done! |

This is a stunning image. Absolute street photography. I think the colors enhance the lovely smile on the girl's face. Sorry, Steve, I'm not quite as happy with the monochrome as I feel that it loses some of the happiness of the girl's expression as well as the spot of brightness in what appears to be a dismal exitence. |

Vella, I know that many administrators have been promoting visiting other groups, not only for inspiration for the visitors but also to pass on their own ideas and history. It does take time but I usually limit it to about 20 groups at a time and thoroughly appreciate the number of responses I get. |

Beautiful image in a beautiful city. If you can spare the time, don't miss the Ciudad Vieja in Barcelona. It's a recreation of an old city and will offer you some interesting photo ops. We've been there twice and although a bit touristy, a pleasant walk through history. |

I've done many images with this flower. In this case, I think I would have kept the original coloring as that purple is such an outstanding color. As to the texture question, there are several videos available on textures on Utube. I've seen a couple of excellent webinars..the best one I've seen is by Matt Koslowski. I'm think if you google him you'll get a link to his website. I wound up buying his videos and refer to him more than I ever thought I would. |

Another option (I did not have the time to remove all the gray, but that would be the ideal) I went into Luminar which I've had for a while, and it took me more time to choose the sky I wanted than to complete the process. Just clicked on the sky I wanted and then clicked on apply and came up with this result. |

Great portrait. I, personally don't find the background attractive so, I took the liberty of making some changes. I first created a non-destructive layer mask. Changed the view on the layer to overlay and then did an inverse selection. I then chose the blur option in Photoshop and blurred the entire background and followed by toning it down a bit. Would appreciate your take on these adjustments. |

This is a well done image. However, to my eye, the supports on either side of the building seem to be leaning in toward the center a bit which makes me wonder if it was shot with a wide angle lens. You could attempt straightening it in photoshop. |

The image of the boulder is well done but is totally overshadowed by the vastness of the foreground. I've cropped it a little differently in my review and attempted to keep the panoramic effect. I wonder how you feel about that. |

I, too, made a couple of adjustments. In Photoshop CC I selected the image and brightened. I then did in inverse selection and reduced the brightness of the wall to provide more contrast to the overall finish. As a finishing touch I increased the vibrance just a bit as well. |

LuAnn, I find that a sky can often be enhanced by the simple addition of a couple of clouds or maybe just a "tune up" of the existing sky. It is simply a matter of personal preference. I personally think that the sky that Bob Luminar used in his reply has a lot more oomph and enhances the photo. As I said, different strokes for different folks. |

I love elephant images. For years I collected everything I could find in Elephant statues, place mats, tee shirts and everything else.
This is a lovely image but I would like to suggest that you remove the tree trunk on the right and then for change of view I converted it into a panorama removing a lot of the dead space in the trees and leaves in the background. Wonder what your thoughts are. |

This is an excellent street photo. I really don't see anywhere that I could suggest to improve this image as it tells the story that is intended. I'm not an attorney but I can't believe that there would be a legal issue on publishing a car parked on the street with a visible license plate. That would be another interesting issue for discussion. |

The subject of the photo is extremely well done. What I did in my feedback was select the two corners separately and in adjustments brightness toned them down so they were not too glaring. I honestly can't make up my mind if they're better or not so I'm looking forward to your reaction. |

I would have done two things with this in post processing. First I would have removed the large pole on the left and then cloned out the or cropped a bit tighter on the right to eliminate that angular line or pole on the upper right corner. In my feedback, I made those two changes and cropped a bit off the top to eliminate the square presentation which resulted from the crop. |

To me the most important part of this image is the sense of patriotism it portrays in these crazy times.
The obvious age of the stones, the color and the brightness of the flags standing waving slightly but still waving in what appears to be a dismal day, make this image as powerful as it is. |
