4 Dec 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80. Fabulous image as a result of a very creative mind and a lot of hard work. Extremely well done. Would love to see the originals. Dec 4th

11 Dec 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80..Great image. I love the conversion to mono which really focuses on the lizard rather than all the color.

By the way, are in any way related to an Evelyn Bodkin who was a psychologist in Huntington, New York that I worked for many years ago?

16 Dec 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80- The wrestlers are an excellent capture but I would like to make a couple of suggestions for the remainder of the image. I find the background a bit too bright and the mid left with what looks like a TV screen calling too loudly for my attention. I would use a non destructive layer mask and tone it down a bit. I would also suggest that when doing the stroke, my guess is that yours is about 3 px. I would suggest that you bring it down to 1 or 2. I have found that the judges in our club are liking the strokes less and less and suggesting keep them as narrow as possible when the do comment so as not to interfere with the image itself. Dec 4th

Topaz has become my best friend. What you created from that original is beyond belief. Absolutely fantastic.

28 Dec 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80. I would be hard put to offer any suggestions for improvement. The is so very suggestive of little girls happiness, and one that will always bring a smile to your lips. Very well done. Dec 4th

48 Dec 19 Reply I had submitted this to the other group in which I participate and one of the comments was suggesting a green background instead of what you see. In that I responded by changing the background for opinion, I'm including the green background image here and look forward to comments. My personal preference is still the original choice. Dec 17th
48 Dec 19 Reply Thanks Mark will try the vignette approach Dec 17th
48 Dec 19 Comment Oops - upper right corner Dec 15th
48 Dec 19 Comment Beans are on the upper right corner as one of the orifinals Dec 15th
48 Dec 19 Comment Actually I made it simpler. I just painted a background with one of the colors I picked from the hat and then adjusted in image, adjustments. But when I saw the beans I tried to remove them and was unsuccessful so I left them. Dec 9th
48 Dec 19 Reply What I did to create the backdrop was create a new blank image. With the eyedrop took a color from the had, adjusted it in "Image" adjust brightness, color, contrast, etc. and then used the gradient tool. When I was satisfied with the result, I pasted the pirate onto the new image and flattened the layers. Dec 8th
48 Dec 19 Comment Thanks Jamie. It was a bit tedious because I had to do it the hard way but I appreciated the result. Dec 7th

80 Dec 19 Reply The background is the easy part, getting out the old background in something like this hat with the irregular edges is the hard, or rather very time consuming part. Dec 23rd
80 Dec 19 Reply Thank you Mark Dec 23rd
80 Dec 19 Reply Per your suggestion, here is the green. Personally, I like the original much better. Looking forward to others' comments Dec 17th
80 Dec 19 Reply Until you prove otherwise I choose to give you the benefit of the doubt! And as to the background, I'll give it a shot and post the result Dec 17th
80 Dec 19 Comment Thanks Carol. And to the two gentlemen who aren't thrilled with the background, I'm still waiting for suggestions. Dec 11th
80 Dec 19 Comment Open for suggestion for background color. How are you doing with Photoshop? Dec 9th
80 Dec 19 Comment Your two cents is always worth a heck of a lot more to me. It was extremely tedious work but I was so appreciative of the final result I sort of forgave myself for making myself crazy over the project. Dec 7th
