1 May 19 Comment Visiting from 48 and 80. Beautiful image and unknowingly at the time you shot it a fabulous keepsake. May 11th

3 May 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80 - What a fabulous sense of imagination to create this image. And the execution is nothing but perfect. It's a winner as far as I can see. May 11th

4 May 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80... All I can say is that if this is typical of your work...you deserve every accolade you receive. Wonderful image. May 11th

9 May 19 Comment John, couldn't help but be tempted to get rid of the halo on your image. What I did was enlarge the image several times and then with a very small brush cloned the sky and surrounding area around the entire halo. I think it resulted in a somewhat better result that what you achieved. Overall; however, a lovely image. May 26th
9 May 19 Comment Shaikh, the cropped image is absolutely beautiful; and, you are certainly entitled to one goof after all the years I know you. Shows you are human! Wish I knew how to add a smile emoji to this comment. May 26th

17 May 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80. This a great image and the monochrome is perfect. As to the "can" I simply selected it by placing a square "frame" around it and then used content aware fill and it was gone in seconds. No need to clone on this one...very time consuming. You can then make adjustments if you like with the healing brush. May 11th
17 May 19 Comment I know I'm in the minority but for me it's a bit too much. It is a very peaceful scene, but and it may be me, it took me a couple of minutes to sort it out in my head. I very much like the corner with the bench, etc., but the woods seem to be a bit overgrown for my taste. Sorry this is not one of my favorites. May 10th

25 May 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80. I too have had a love affair with doors ever since we visited Santa Fe during the Albuquerque PSA convention. I have a bunch of them and hope one day to combine them into a book. This one is outstanding. May 11th

27 May 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80. When I opened this image, my first instinct was Havana. Trinidad is one place I haven't gotten to yet. I do like the tighter crop and offer you another suggestion for a title "What a Cheapskate" Nice image May 12th

30 May 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80. I appreciate your creativity in creating this image and overall like the final result; however, I do agree with most as I personally would not have used the fence effect. I find it distracting. But as they say, different strokes for different folks - no right or wrong. May 12th

32 May 19 Comment Visiting from 48 & 80. I just opened this image in CS6 and then called on my favorite filter program which is a free download - Topaz Studio and one click on "basic correction" and got this result. I do like Stephen's straightening. I can tell you that Topaz Studio offers more options than you can shake a stick at. May 12th

48 May 19 Reply Valerie, welcome to the group and thanks for your suggestion.
As you can see, Sean made the same comment and I agree with both.

48 May 19 Comment Thanks for the improvement Sean and you are right on the "original" It belongs with next month. May 29th
48 May 19 Comment Great job. I'm familiar with masking to desaturate and decrease brightness and opacity, but wonder what mask and steps you used to blur. I often have a problem with that.

Love the image.

48 May 19 Comment I love this image. Reminds me on one I took many years ago at Jones Beach in New York while on a "photo hunt" with my first photo teacher and dear friend who has passed on. No room for correction here as far as I'm concerned. May 10th
48 May 19 Comment I appreciate what you were trying to show here, but to my eye, the spires are too dark and the fine points of the architecture are not defined. I brightened up only the spires and wonder what you think about the result. Or were you aiming for a silhouette, in which case the spires should be a bit darker. May 10th

56 May 19 Comment Your idea is great and very creative. However, I appears that the "boat" is just copied and pasted into the sky. I tried to figure out how to add a touch of motion trail but that's one that I need to learn myself. Overall a good image and one to add to a children's story. May 12th

60 May 19 Comment Love this image. As to normal, for conversation's sake I rotated the image and my comment is "so much for normal" Love your rendition. May 12th

64 May 19 Comment You are absolutely right. Sorry, I did not see the very fine wires kind of buried in the clouds, but the process would remain the same. May 12th
64 May 19 Comment May 12th
64 May 19 Comment Hi Stan. I quickly removed those wires using content aware fill and then the tiny piece in the center with a quick clone of a cloud. I did try to correct the distortion, but my rendition was worse than the original. Overall a good image. May 12th

80 May 19 Comment Removing those two legs is a tall order and a lot of work, but they can certainly be darkened and blurred a bit to make them less obvious. Suggestion - if you have time, play around with utube asking it questions and you will find a video for anything you want to do. A bit time consuming, but a good start.
Overall a good image.

80 May 19 Comment Perfect not so candid. Color, positioning, everything fell right into line. May 10th
80 May 19 Comment This is a one in a million shot. You could stand in front of a church for a month and never have a shot line up like this and then in front of what appears to be a theater it falls into your lap. Very well done. May 10th
80 May 19 Comment May 10th
80 May 19 Comment I hope it's not my vision, but this, too, seems a bit dark to me so I brightened it up just a bit and with a content-aware fill, eliminated the cross-bar above her head which I found a distraction. Otherwise, a really nice image. May 10th
80 May 19 Comment Bill this is a great image but a tad too dark for me. I just increased the brightness in CS6 by very little but it works better for me that way. Wonder what you think. May 10th
