Visiting from 48 & 80 - What a beautiful shot. The only thing missing is a couple of cloud wisps. |

visiting from 48 & 80... This is a great image; however, I am disturbed by the wire running from the building on the left which could have easily been removed. |

The image is great but I can't begin to tell you how I appreciate the instructions for the shadow border. I wish everyone was that explicit. Thanks. |

Do I ever love this image. I so miss the snows of my New York childhood. Beautiful rendition and if that is a flood filter you added it is the perfect touch. If the flood effect was there, how very lucky you were at that moment. |

Love it but wonder how it was created. Looking as well for an opinion on my image for this month if you get a minute. |

Lucky shot. In all the years since Green Cay was built I was never lucky enough to get anything this good. |

Never piling it on. Appreciate the opinions -- all - good or otherwise. Thanks for your input. Actually I'm becoming more ambivalent every time I look at the image but I'm beginning to warm up more to the blue sky. Will put it up on my huge monitor. |

Linda this is a pleasing portrait. Smile is endearing. I don't doubt that you can go online and find tutorials on how to open his eyes a bit. You've undertaken a major project and I wish you the best of luck with it. This image is an excellent start. |

Isn't it funny how different eyes see different things. Margaret you're absolutely right, I would definitely clone out or content aware fill that space. |

Thanks Mark. I guess the jury's in. I don't planning on toning down the color because when submitting digital images for competition in our club they tend to get blown out a bit so I really think I need the stronger color. |

In response to some of your suggestions, I've brought back the blue sky and adjusted the toning. What do you think? |

I didn't keep the blue because my thought was not to contrast with the colors of the building. Looking forward to a consensus |

Smile tells the story of a "happy camper". The monochrome application here works very well. Well done portrait and I'm sure he'd probably like a copy of it. |

How I miss the opportunity to photograph this kind of image living in Florida and having a husband who hates cold weather. Well done |

The only thing I don't care for in this image is the white square cloud on the upper right which is calling my eye. Easily removed with content aware fill. Otherwise a really great catch. |

Visiting from 48 & 80. This is an amazing transformation. Do you know if this app is available for us old fashioned people who still use cameras? |

Visiting from 48 & 80.. this is such a beautiful image. My first reaction when seeing it was that it reminded me of Shirley Temple as a little girl. |

As a travel agent I had one of the earliest opportunities to go at a reasonable price and would "give my eye teeth" for the opportunity to go back. Don't hesitate to contact me for anything you may need - Cuba or otherwise. bevandstu@gmail.com. And, thanks for your detailed review.

Interesting as to how she seems to be wrapped up in her meal and to me he appears absolutely blase'. The bow tells the story, or does it? Is it her birthday or is she is birthday present? One thing for sure, street photography gives us the opportunity to have our minds wander all over the place. |

This image reminds me of an image that I took many years ago of an elderly couple sitting on a bench staring out at the ocean which I converted to mono. One look tells the story of affection/love between the parties. I think I might have tried to eliminate the wires coming up from the boardwalk, but then on second thought they sort of provide the effect of framing. |

I've been sitting here looking at this and trying to figure out how to comment. As is often the case with street photography there is so much going on here that you probably have 3 images in one. The one that bothers me most is the fellow with his back to the camera. I wonder if you had moved a bit to one side or the other the result might have been different and maybe a bit more effective. |

True, but astreet5 scene could also be looking into the window of a restaurant. Mostly I just found the blue leg kind of intrusive....different eye I guess. |

Bill, per my earlier suggestion, I cropped out the extraneous left, then used a non-destructive layer mask to the down the bright color behind her and finally did an inverse selection and blurred the background. I know you're not a big fan of post processing, but I did want to offer you the option |

I like the main subject but find too many distracting other things in the image. I would consider cropping off a large piece of the left side and darkening or even trying to eliminate that blue leg just behind her. Will play with it when I get home from work and add another comment later tonight. |
