I felt like playing so I took your original into CS6 and applied Topaz. One stroke of the pen that came with my tablet produced this and about 20 other options. What do you think? |

Love the colors, didn't care for the white, found it too distracting. So I'm offering you another alternative. I cropped off the white. Created a new blank image larger than the remaining original, copied and pasted the cropped original onto the blank canvas. Selected, inverse, then in the blank space did a content aware fill. Merged the layers and then cropped a bit off the right side that was obvious duplication. What do you think. |

Margaret this image was scanned from a print and was a bit flat so I figured I'd enhance it a bit. |

Topaz Suite -- it's a free download and I believe it can be used on its own if you don't have Photoshop. Saves me hours of creating different effects.

I've taken the liberty of using a non-destructive layer mask to lighten up his face a bit and accentuated the gleam in his eye with slightly off-white dots. Otherwise a great inmage. |

Very pretty girl. However, I don't think you need all that space on the right. In my feedback I cropped it out and made it a vertical image. |

Nice image. Colors are bright and clear. I see nothing to improve here. |

Just want to thank everyone for your comments last month. I submitted the "studying" image to our competition this month and she scored 10 out of a possible 10. Your suggestions were most gratefully appreciated and right on! |

Thanks Bill. To be honest, it wasn't posed. Just a grab shot as we were walking around BUtterfly World. I keep wondering how it might do in a competition. |

I love these wall paintings or graffiti whatever they are meant to be and this one is really good. I do find that in some spots the bicycles are distracting but sometimes we have no choice to take what we get. Well done. |

Although my preference is to hone in on individuals rather than large groups with many subjects, this is a good catch and leaves one studying each individual separately. |

You're so consistently good it sometimes scares me. Great catch. Nothing to improve here. |

I like the red effect from the spotlight. It makes the image very different from the ordinary. Well done! |

I like this image very much. The only thing I might have done was cropped a bit off the right where that rear splash almost looks like a ladder in the background. |

Thanks to both of you. I love it for all the reasons you mentioned but mostly because this is my first great grandson and without prejudice, is so well behaved and bright he is a joy to be with...the spitting image of his dad at that age. |
