I am the administrator of group 48 and Stu's wife. I try to visit as many groups as I can each month and find it a great learning experience. If I could swim, I'd be right behind you. This image has to be a prize winner for any exhibition or competition. It;s absolutely magnificent. |

I originally shot in jpg and have no idea what the ISO was at the time. This image was probably shot around 1989. I went ahead and removed some of the grain in Topaz but I feel that there was a bit more "feeling" to the image as I originally posted it. Would appreciate everyone's comments on this one. |

Although I find his expression a bit "strange" overall it's a good image. To my eye there's a little lack of contrast so, I took him into photoshop, duplicated the layer, filled with 50% gray and created a nondestructive layer mask. I then reduced the opacity to about 15-20 percent and painted over his face with white to lighten it up a bit. What do you think? |

I don't mind it being a bit off center. I missed the light pole, but that is easily, or maybe a bit more touchy to remove with content aware fill as well

This image is definitely more your speed. The sharpness and clarity im the fine detail under the fingers combined with the blurred out background with a touch of color make this all in all very fine image. Congratulations. |

This is beautiful. I am a filter freak. Can you give me a bit more info on Studio Magic and the cost. I use Topaz with almost every image and love the results, but this is outstanding. And, if you don't mind, a second question, how did you get your wonderful signature is that process something special? |

This is a beautiful church. However, as your lens was reading a pretty bright sky, the face of the church was a bit dark. Also, if you notice on the left side there is one vertical row that stands out a bit as it is lighter than all the rest.
So, I brought the image into photoshop. Selected the church and then used image, adjust, brightness and moved the lever up just a drop to put some more light om the beautiful front of the building. I then increased the contrast by 1 or 2 stops. Finally I used the rectangular marquee in a couple of spots to do a content aware fill and bring the stone work into the same shading and toning of the rest of the building. |

I definitely prefer the monochrome. Seems to exhibit of solitude. Like how you caught the shadow of the bike. Nothing to improve here. |

HI Brenda. The original image is absolutely gorgeous; but.I agree that some cropping is necessary as although the tiger stands out because of his beautiful skin and the wonderful reflection, I feel he's a bit small. I would not darken the reflection as it's such an integral part of the beauty of the image. I have also cropped it down a bit but that doesn't vary much from the others. Just another suggestion. Overall a great image. |
