3 Jun 18 Comment I am the administrator of group 48 and enjoy visiting all the groups. I must commend you, I must have been to Butterfly World (I live in Boynton Beach) hundreds of times and have never been lucky enough to get a shot like this one. I've tried every time and just never found the right bloom or the right angle. It's a winner in my eyes. Jun 8th

8 Jun 18 Comment I am the administrator of group 48 and enjoy looking at all the images. Hope you don't mind a comment. I love the image but don't like the traffic light so with a few content aware strokes I put it to bed. I wonder what you think. Jun 8th

21 Jun 18 Comment Just honest. Appreciate the finest things and people I've met throughout my short photographic experiences and life in general. Jun 11th
21 Jun 18 Comment This image is beyond gorgeous. And, on behalf of your group I wonder if you have any real idea of what a loss you will be to them and all of us who enjoy your images and learn from them.

23 Jun 18 Reply I find every visit a learning experience and am happy to do so. I wish more people would visit 48. It might be an inspiration to my members to do the same. Thanks for your note Jun 11th
23 Jun 18 Comment Duplicate the layer. Fill the top layer with 50% Gray then in the layers panel, change normal to overlay. Once you change that to overlay, use the paintbrush tool at about 15% opacity (change it to your liking) paint black for darker and white for brighter or lighter. If you have a problem, don't hesitate to email me at bevandstu@gmail.com.

Good Luck

23 Jun 18 Comment I am the administrator of group 48 and enjoy visiting all the groups. After reading the comments, I figured I'd try a trick that I learned from my friend Marie Altenburg in group 21....namely, a non-destructive layer mask, where I selectively darkened (I think enhanced) the sky colors not affecting the birds. What do you think? Jun 8th

32 Jun 18 Comment Steve, this is a very interesting image and well done, Tom's adjustments just improved it a bit. Well done. Jun 8th

42 Jun 18 Reply Don't hesitate to contact me if you need any assistance in the process. As to the download, it is apparently not difficult, but I leave those processes to my grandson. No help to anyone on that end. Jun 11th
42 Jun 18 Comment I am Stu's wife and the administrator of group 48. He showed me your image and I took the liberty of making some changes for your consideration. First, I brightened the yarn a bit and cropped the image to appear as a panorama. I then found the background a bit bright so I played in Topaz Studio (which by the way is a free download and works wonders with Photoshop) and found a background that I thought might be a bit better. I wonder what your thoughts are. Jun 11th

48 Jun 18 Comment I'm so glad you did. I firmly believe that the whole concept of the learning groups is the more interaction the better. I look forward to seeing you in the coming months.

48 Jun 18 Comment Thanks, but it can't be to new. I shot this image in 1989. That's why I was so confused. I could not find it on any of the new websites and my notes from that far back are not really in the best order.

Thanks again

48 Jun 18 Comment I hate being repetitive but, as I've said before, I'm not a large fan of this type of abstract. The colors are good, but I think that this one could be a bit sharper. Jun 11th
48 Jun 18 Comment What a beautiful child. Is she yours? She is all eyes and they really pop out. I love the flying hair ends which are also so sharp.

Beautiful image.

48 Jun 18 Comment This, in my eyes, is an absolutely perfect image. The lanterns on the inner wall are bright enough to be seen but not too bright to be a distraction from the subject. The contrast of blacks, whites, and all the in between shades is remarkable.

Extremely well done.

48 Jun 18 Comment Thanks for your comment. Thi is a very old image and I tried to locate its twin on Google because I wasn't sure after seeing so many mosques in one trip and it was shot about 1988. Just going through hundreds of old images to resurrect some new ideas and playing with Topaz Suite, which, by the way, if you didn't know is mow a free download.
