Barbara, I love this image, and I have encountered your problem before as wall regarding the frame. I solved it by creating a new blank image just a couple of strokes larger than the original, painting the entire blank canvas the color I wanted the frame to be and then pasting the original onto the new "frame". This is my 'tribute" to Sam Klein who taught me this technique among many others. |

I promised I'd look in occasionally and here I am. I certainly picked a good time as this image is superb. Beautiful work. |

I am the administrator of group 48 and love to view all the images as I find them wonderfully educational and extremely enjoyable. This particular one is really outstanding for me. You did a great job. Would you be kind enough to tell me how you created that framing. Thanks. |

10 out of 10. If it works for you, I'd like to send you another that I'm working on and can't make up my mind. |

You have the unusual knack of making "nothing" subjects into excellent images. And BTW thanks for your input on Aussie Sail Race... pulled a 10 in competition. |

For my taste, there's a bit too much out of focus. In my feedback, I re-oriented the image to a panoramic leaving the sharp points but cutting out some of the out of focus ones. Your thoughts? |

Ahmed, maybe it's my eyes but I'm not seeing noise. However, assuming you're seeing something I'm not, noise can usually be removed to a large degree with software. |

Margaret. The size you submitted was much too small, so I just enlarged it to the usual 1024 x 768 and it's now out of focus.

It wasn't really as sharp as I would have liked, but photoshop works wonders. Was hoping I didn't over sharpen./ |

At first look, I couldn't figure out what this was till I read your description. Interesting pattern. I'm still trying to figure out if the seats were open or closed. |

I think I might have labeled this "Here's Looking at You". She's really staring right at you which is usually so difficult to get in a zoo environment. Very well done. |

Nice image. Technically correct and well placed, but just not something I can get very excited over. I guess I'm Florida wetland burnt out. Well done |

This is a wonderful image. Every color pops. The only thing I found a bit distracting was that "thing" sticking up in the foreground so I removed it using content aware fill. See my feedback. |
