Hi Isaac,
What a great nature story, and you were very lucky indeed to witness and capture those moments! I like both images but Richard's version really focuses on the sweet contentment of the two bears after what has been a very satisfying nursing. |

Hi Richard,
A very attractive capture of two birds in a well-coordinated flight. Their striking colors, particularly of the beaks and their big, wide-opened eyes, work very well against the background of the seemingly calm and green waters. I agree with the comments about a tighter crop.

Bruce, I have seen Ruddy Ducks in the wildlife sanctuary that I like to visit, and spotting them is always a treat. I believe that their beaks turn blue and overall turn they turn handsome during the breeding season, so your sharp image with the bright colors and that eager eye does justice to the breed. The water ripples, the reflection and a few water droplets on its feather complete this strong image. |

Hi, Maria,
This is a breathtakingly lovely image and it is so alive! The colors, the level of details, the texture of the flower and the butterfly (I can literally feel them, and the muted and pleasant green background make this a winner. |

Such an amazing shot, Karen, of this beautiful interaction (I can't stop smiling, nature is truly magical!) between the turtle and the butterfly. And thank you for that piece of information about the give-and-take between these two creatures. Agree with Adrian's comments that bringing down the brightness on the back of the turtle and the log would be an enhancement. And, yes, leaving the flies does add to the captivating story. |
