Hi Adrian, I find it especially appealing that your image of the albatross against the blue waters creates such a strong sense of movement. The more I look at the image, the more I feel the movement. |

Hi, Isaac! Such a priceless moment that you captured here. The water drops that the bear was shaking off, the facial expression, the level of details, the muted background all contribute to a spectacular image. |

I haven't been able to photograph an owl, any owl in its natural environment so your image of a snowy owl is really a special treat, Richard! I like Isaac's tighter crop and added light because these allow me to see the snowy owl and its distinct features a lot more. |

Your efforts paid off because you shot a very sharp image of such a cutie . I like the fact that you caught him scratching his ear and what a sweet face. I initially visualized cropping a little from the top and bottom but quickly abandoned that thought. Your crop retains the sense of place which, to me, is a good thing. |

Karen, I did see a few Red-headed cardinals last summer in Kawai and photographed them but none of my images are anyway close to yours. This is so striking, focused and sharp and I love the colors and the texture. I find the crop a little tight specially on the left side. A little bit more space there will give the bird some more room to fly to. |

Hi Richard - Yes, those two bugs are mating and the third bug looks like he's getting ready to move into their space. Thank you for your thoughts and suggestion on the cropping. I cropped it tight because I wanted the viewers' focus to be on the action of these three bugs. |
