Yes, Adrian, it's too bad that there is no reflection.
Thanks for your thoughts and feedback. |

Adrian - your post processing is very effective in bringing out the texture, the different colors, plus giving the image more vibrance and life. |

Bruce - I often see healthy looking coyotes carefully watching for cottontail rabbits living in the land basin area that's across my home. I remember seeing one that looked frail and unhealthy like your image on one of my walks. Your image is very sharp and you captured the sad facial expression of this coyote. I also like the blurred background and its color; gives the viewer a strong sense of place . |

Richard - I do agree with the comments that the crop is on the tight side but this doesn't take away any value from this beautiful image. I like how sharp the face of the egret and the fish are.

Hi Karen, yes, he sure looks grumpy and unhappy!
I love the sharp details, colors, and the texture of the subject.
I may further blur the big green leaf and the branch above him to draw attention to your great subject. |

Hi Isaac, thank you for sharing Lolita's compelling story, highlighted by your equally compelling images. I can see myself kissing a whale. |

Thank you for your feedback, Richard.
Your comment about my use of f/5.6 made me revisit my settings; F was actually 6.3. |
