Hi Maria - This macro photo inspires me to someday, hopefully, soon venture into macro photography and even explore focus stacking. I am impressed that you pay such careful attention to otherwise ignored little creatures. I appreciate the info on the Tachinid flies but it saddens me that their eggs cause the death of the monarch. A lovely image with exceptional details, sharpness and colors! |

Hi Bruce -
Such a great capture of these adorable cubs. I like the white vignette; draws attention even more to the sharp details of image, specially the lovely and facial expressions. |

Thank you, Maria, for your feedback. I don't remember using the clone tool in my edits but, like I said to Richard, let me study the original image and the edited version to determine what caused the disruption. |

Thank you, Richard, for your comments and feedback. Regarding the calf's ear, I checked the original image and the one in the edited version and I don't see much difference except, perhaps, having been enhanced by the editing that I did, the ear looks a little more weird? I'll study it a little more to determine the reason for what you termed as "disruption." Thanks again. |

Very sharp image of a lovely bird. I love the details and the texture. Perhaps, more blurring of the leaves and branches will make them less distracting. |

Hi Adrian - what stands out to me in your lovely image is how effectively you recovered the details of the baby. This is a growth area for me in my PP that I continue to work on. Your image also drives the point to me that cropping skillfully makes such a difference in composition. Thank you. |

Hi Richard - the only time I tried panning was when I was taking a class in Introduction to Digital Photography through PSA, and I agree with Isaac that it's not easy. I haven't tried it since then, so I applaud you for taking this on and know that through practice, your panning will hit the mark. |

Hi Isaac, such a great capture of a tender moment between these two bears; rubbing their noses and gazing at each other. I love the background giving the image a strong sense of place and that light snow falling adds so much value to this beautiful image. |
