Hi, Adrien,
Made those three changes you recommended and here is the outcome. I can see how giving the Ibis more room and lightening the shadows enhanced the image. Flipping the image didn't do much as far as I'm concerned. Maybe, it's because I look at objects from left to right. Thank you again for taking the time to make those suggestions.

I so appreciate your comments, reactions and suggestions on my image of the Ibis. Yes, I am still struggling with finding the sweet spot between how much or how little to crop. With more experimenting, I know I'll get there. Your suggestion, Bruce, on getting lower is well taken but often this isn't easy with my weak knees. I'll remember to do it, however, when the situation works. |

Richard, your timing when you shut this image was right on. Not only is the bird's beak filled with wood, but his facial expression, particularly the look in his eye, and the raised claw indicate that he's pleased with his accomplishment. |

Thank you, Isaac, for sharing the info about the symbiotic relationship between the mockingbird and the iguana, and depicting that relationship in this highly impactful image. |

Adrian, this image has so much power and life that I can imagine and feel the movements of the animals. I too prefer the cropped color version because I so love the golden dust in the air that I can almost smell, touch, taste and feel all over me. Outstanding catch of a very special and extraordinary moment! |

Karen, as someone who is still struggling with where to crop and how much or how little, I have found the suggestions on your sharp and beautiful image of the giraffe very insightful. |

Maria,, I love shooting bees too in spite of the challenge of getting a sharp focus as these busy and little creatures move about quickly and unpredictably. The details that you captured, specially the pollen on its body, add a lot of interest to your story. I find the muted colors of your background very appealing. |

Bruce, PSA Wildlife Image of the Year! WOW... I can only dream of getting this close to wildlife, and being able to capture a moment like this is even a much bigger dream. Bravo. |
