Thank you, Adrian. I'm pleased that you like my presentation of the American robin. And I so appreciate your step-by-step directions on using Topaz Photo Ai for large cropping. I intend to purchase the app real soon and begin using it where appropriate, so these will come in really handy. |

Adrian, the story that your beautiful, in an almost ethereal way, image is compelling. The different shades of blue and those tiny wisps of rope add magical appeal to the image. |

Maria, your post production work is absolutely outstanding. I love the appealing contrast between the dark background and the colorful and elegant dragonfly. |

Bruce, this is an amazingly sharp portrait of a red egret with a fish in its beaks and the colors are very appealing. His eyes seem to be looking right into your camera. |

Welcome to Group 72, Karen! Now there is one more person I can learn with and from. You certainly met your goal of capturing the grace of these cranes! I still struggle with the appropriate f-stop and also the speed to keep moving subjects in sharp focus so the comments and exchanges are very insightful. Thank you! |

The level of details in your image and the emotions being conveyed, Richard, are amazing! I do prefer Isaac's version and comment that showing the whole bird in its environment completes the story. |

Isaac, I love how your image captured the intense expression on the egret's face, particularly the eye. Great image. |

Isaac, thanks for your reminder about "magnum" crops and quality of the image. I really liked what I captured in that moment then cropped to show it, and paid the price. |

Thanks for your comments, Richard. The Original 2 I included to add to my story of how this American robin seemed to sense my presence, in spite of the distance. Note that in original 2, he is looking at me. |

Hi, Karen! I agree with Isaac that it's my magnum crop that downgraded the quality of the image. I don't happen to have Topaz but am considering adding it to my toolbox. Thank you for your feedback. |
