Thank you, Ian. I appreciate your review and thoughtfulness of the original land owner's probable travail as well as the beauty of living in the area. |

A storytelling winter image. Nice capture of the snowcapped mountains and the textured road. Where is the original? |

Lovely image, Nelson. I like the way you lit the trees and the path leading us to the back. |

The structure is very impressive. (Would love to see what they have done on the inside too). I like that you caught the shadows on the building as well. I agree about the vignette. Not necessary for the image. I would like to see the pieces that are in the foreground as well. There is a lot of interest that is too dark to see. |

I appreciate your 'triangular' composition and your inclusion of the foreground. I agree with Lauren about the 'black' stump in the middle of the image. I would lighten the blacks on the foreground trees and stump as well. |

Nice composition, Ian. I like the 'infinity' aspect and your division of the image into several geometric forms. |

Thank you, Lauren. This was taken in northern CA. I converted it in LR. Very simply turned it to b&w, enhanced the lighting and shadows with a brush and then adjusted the temperature a bit . As you can see from the original, the sky was a gift-just a bit of contrast. |
