I like the image, Lauren, and prefer the original crop. It leads the viewer in to the composition on the lower left and allows one to travel through the image. The new crop cuts off too much. Just curious-what is all of the 'dust' on the sky? It is not as pronounced on the original crop. |

Nice image, Stuart-looks very 'Americana'. Great textures. |

Looks like a nice house/castle with lovely steps. It would be nice to emphasize the house and its steps by cropping at the base of the bottom trees. This would emphasize the diagonal that you captured and bring the viewer closer to the structure. |

Thank you, I thought the framing of the trees created a bit of mystery-as to this ramshackle house in the middle of the woods replete with a child's toy tractor. Where is the family? |

Thank you, Stuart. Your critiqued mirrored mine as I examined what I created. Then, I remembered what attracted me to it--which was as if I came to this spot while lost wandering through the forest and found an 'oasis'. |

Love this capture, Nelson. A beautiful reflection and such a soft, cool palette with fluffy clouds that almost appear to be moving! |
