Elle,
Last month you asked me to post the color image of my waterfall. Since I posted late, I was not sure if you were able to see in. Susan |

John,
I am always amazed by fellow photographers who can do such creative work in the space around them. You and Ella are great examples of capturing ordinary scenes and walking away with winners.
Great texture and detail. Here, as with other images this month, a vignette would be a nice addition. Susan

Peter,
Great composition and use of IR. Since the pine is the star of the image, I might suggest darkening the tones in the rock so that there is more contrast between the tree and the rocks.
Wondering if you reprocessed your RAW image with today's tools? I love to go back at old images that were good composition and see how today's processes can enhance the them. Susan |

Ian,
Interesting image and great capture on your part. I might suggest either a vignette or a reduction in intensity of the building as it hits the corners of the image. It tends to pull my eye out of the frame. Great detail and sharpness. Susan |

Michael,
The lighting made me think this image was taken with an IR camera. It has an ethereal look. The sky with their muted tones are a complement to the image.
I always read the comments from others after I post my reply and was interested to see that Ian used the same term in describing the image "ethereal". It is a wonderful image. Susan |

Ed,
The eyes are haunting and the detail in his bone structure contribute to the sense of disrepair the image converts. Talk about a photograph telling a story.
As photographers is is great that we are able to capture images that are not our usual subject matter to make the experience worthwhile. I agree a vignette would enhance the image. Susan

Thank you all for appreciating my work. It is helpful to get the feedback. The snow was awesome and I have many great images from this trip - almost entirely black and white. It was cold and despite the fact that my hands we numb at times, I am going back next Fed to shoot more of the wildlife but knowing me I will also be looking for more landscape images. Susan |

Ella,
I love the range of shades/tones in the image. The lines provide symmetry. It is interesting that one does not have to travel far to obtain a winning image. Susan |
