thanks you for the suggestions of adding some contrast to the walls of the church. You and several others have made that suggestions. I am glad it is November and you are back doing still life image. I always enjoy seeing your images. In this image, I like the way you have used the fringe on the ends of the beads to reflect the shape of the straw in the vase. well done. Susan |

As others have said, this is a great image with leading line drawing the viewer back into the scene. I might suggest a more definitive transition of contrast going from foreground to background. Micheal made a similar comment. Susan |

Congrats on your new position. The group is lucky to have you as their photographer. The image is very interesting and in keeping with the fall season. I black and white version is well done but this is one situation where I think the color makes a more striking image. Susan |

I often shoot in IR and your image certainly demonstrates the value of this modality. Great composition and structure. I love the clean lines of the gravestones. I might like to see a little vignette on the sides and bottom of the image to keep the eye within the frame. Susan |

I am finally able to connect and see this months images. As you know I have been traveling.
I thought i saw two gulls with one in the reflection just above and slightly to the left of the actual gull. However, on a more careful inspection I see only one gull that is not in the reflectionbut just outside on the right. I enjoy seeing the image and your compositon but agree a crop might enhance this image,perhaps even a square. Susan |
