John and members,
I am happy to be back to the group. I will return to work in three weeks but soon after go on vacation to Morocco. I will only be able to bring the small camera due to still having lifting restrictions but am hopeful I will have opportunities to enhance my photo library. In Jan 25, I will go to Hokkaido and hope to capture more minimal landscape that hopefully I will be posting. Susan |

Ella.
I enjoy the overall composition of this image and the natural framing of the window by the branches and leave. The reflection in the image is very inviting and draws the viewer in to try and see more of what is going on in the reflection. great use of contrast in the image to focus attention on the reflection. John,
Like the others who have posted, I enjoyed this image for its simplicity and shapes/textures. The subtle change in brightness is also very effective. Susan |

A traditional image with a new twist. I have not viewed an image in the cemetery with the front crosses in the shadows. To me it really enhances the image. Also I appropriated seening a different cemetery that commemorates the work of the allies in North Africa. My uncle was there and as you point out you don't heard much about the war in the area. I think you did great. I enjoy the image so much more in back and white. For me this subject matter is much more suited it Black and white. Her make up really contributes to the mood of the image. Susan |

The images of the aurora is certainly not the traditional colors one experts to see. I like it in black and white so much better. This image would would certainly have a place in my home. The lake has a shine to it which I find very appealing. Five year interval did not have an effect on the image. great image. Susam |
