Thank you for the feedback. I agree I lost some detail in the Silver effects selection. I will try removing the boarder ( I generally do not use them) and bring up more detail in the shadows. I am not a street photographer but I was just at the right place to capture this one. Susan |

Ella,
Great image. I love seeing all of your images each month. I realize that the highlights on the horn were most likely adjusted. However, I would like to see a little more contrast in the image. It seems a little flat for the holiday season. Susan |

Ian,
Wonderful, playful image. I find in the black and white images the eyes are very bright- perhaps tone down the white just a bit. It does draw your eye to to the eye so I would just see if a bit more brightness still gives you the same effect. if not, then leave it as it is. Susan |

It does look like the Palouse but you mentioned it was near your home. I wonder if I would enhance the image to remove the sky at the top. Also agree with suggestion for a bit more contrast between the bales of hay and the ground. Happy Holidays to all. Susan |

Thank you all for the feedback. After I posted it, I realized that the upper part of the image behind the butterfly did need some attention. I might try enhancing the butterfly and keeping the blue sky. That worked well in the image submitted by Debbie. Happy Holidays. Susan |

Lauren,
My thoughts were a combination of Debbie and Tatu. Crop some of the foreground and darken the sky. I have a traditional image that I worked on for many hours and finally realized that the darkened sky really enhance the image and put the attention of the mountains. In cropping the foreground, I might also remove some of the right hand side of the image. Susan |

Nelson,
I always enjoy your use of color in your IR scenes. This one is no exception. I really enjoy seeing the closudes reflected in the water. Susan |

Tatu,
I think the composition of this image is very good. However, the image itself is a little flat. I agree with Debbie and Lauren that these changes should give the image a punch. Susan |

Debbie,
Great image that represents late fall into winter. The blue sky really gives the image a pop of color. My tow suggestions would be to darken down the left side of the image (the right side is already darker due to the trees and to remove the branches from the front of the barn (as Lauren suggested). Happy holidays to everyone. Susan |

Stuart,
I love the range of tones in this image. My tow suggestions would be to lighten the dark are in the foreground under the small hill and to provide more detail to the body of the house. Happy Holidays. Susan |
