31 Nov 22 Reply Nick,
I am fortunate to have an exceelent printer who moved into my town from the Bay area. He is very accomplished and printed the image for me on a fine canvas and thencoated it with a matt finish. It was expensive but worth the price. Susan

I love the image. I amnot a birder and marvel at those who can capture the details in birds. My sugggestion would be to darken the branch that the bird is sitting on and to clone out the branch by the bird's tail. Susan

Looking at your image, I think there is too much sky. I would crop it a bit. Also add a vignette to image to bring the viewer's eye to the center. Also if the pick of fench that is showing in lower right is still visable when you add the vingette, I might consider removing it. Susan

Love the image and the capture of light on her face. I wondered if the light on her hands where the light actually fell. It looks to me like the light would have been more to her right. Susan

I enjoyed viewing your portrait. Like some of my B&W imaages, I would like to see the statue brighter and with more detail in the face. Susan

31 Nov 22 Comment Peter,
I have been to Bodie several times and do not remember seeing this group of cars. Your image certainly reflects the "look" of Bodie. I find th eimage a little flat and wonder if you could use a curves ajustment to give it more punch- especially focusing on the the tow cars. To me they seem to be the same tone and my eye tends to see them as one. Susan

31 Nov 22 Comment John, I like th euse of negative space. There is enough rooom at the top angle of th ebuilding to adequately see the space around it. My only suggestion would be to have a bit of a darkening around th eouter edge of th eimage to bring the viewer eye towars the center of the image. Susan Nov 29th
