It took me a minute to work out what was going on here because it looks like a reflection in water, but the surface is slightly curved. I would try cloning out the man's head as I find it an intrusion between the reflection and the bridge, but otherwise an unusual take on Venice, so well done on the originality front. |

That looks like a great location with the framing of the cliffs and the valley disappearing off into the distance with some nice recession on the distant hills. I agree that a bit more cliff on the left would balance the one on the right. Stitching images in Lightroom is very easy, just take a series of images with a good overlap, select them in Lightroom, right click and select Photo Merge--> Panorama. It usually does a very good job, and there are options to stretch, fill or crop to produce a rectangular image. Just try it and practice! |

Photography in woodland is harder than it appears - trying to identify and isolate a subject and dealing with contrast. I like the composition here with the group of 5 trees plus the ferns for foreground interest. I would suggest a crop off the left side as the main axis of interest is a little offset to the right. In woodlands, I always find the image on the back of the camera does not match how it looks to our eyes - always too much contrast. You have said you have brought up the darker areas, but I would go further to soften out the shadow areas even more. |

Sometimes you just get lucky (but as Gary Player said - the more you practice, the luckier you get). Great capture with the four kids in the image, which perfectly fits the theme of framing. You have noticed that the head of the lad in red breaks the horizon slightly - if that bothers you, you could select him in Photoshop and slightly 'squeeze' him down and clone the horizon over his head - it can be done, but it doesn't change the essential story of the image. |
