Thanks, Tami. Fortunately, my friend walked down this path several times while I was trying to find the best composition balance for the picture. |

Thanks so much, Frans! My friend (the lady in the shot) knew I was looking for a picturesque location, and this little park did not disappoint. |

Thanks, Pierre, the lady on the path was very cooperative in letting me try to take her walk down the path from several view points. And yes, despite the inclement weather, Hangzhou was a very inviting place to visit. |

Thanks, Geoff. It was a rainy, misty day, so the water on the path was a consequence- but that apparently turned into a positive for the image. |

I also love the colors: the boats form a strong focal point for the image. A really nice use of the drone for a lovely image.

A really nice shot of a very lovely location! The sky suggests that this is taken at sunset which is always a lovely time of day, but I'm wondering if the shadows in the cliffs might be lightened up just a bit to bring out more detail. |

Hi Pierre- that's a magnificent old fort- a really imposing structure overlooking the lake. My first impression is that it almost seemed to be floating in the air, since the water and sky are almost the same color and it's hard to see the horizon between the two. I tried using Dehaze in camera raw to provide a little more contrast between sky and lake and added some vignette to put more focus on the main building. See what you think. |

Hi Geoff- The colors in the picture are really spectacular, and the little guy at the bottom of the picture helps you grasp the enormity of the cave. I can see why you would want to go there. My only concern about this as a picture is where the focal point is? Your eye seems to be drawn to the big lighter wall in the more-or-less center of the picture, but it seems like you might have wanted the viewer to focus on something more specific. Maybe the little man in the back could have been in the front to give a focal point, or a big rock or something. Regardless, I'm still awed by the cave. |
