70 Nov 24 Reply That's a great idea, Kathryn! (Wish I had thought of it.) I'll do that before entering it anywhere else. Nov 17th
70 Nov 24 Reply Thanks so much, Geoff. We just left England and I used my cell phone for almost all of my pictures there. It's getting to be a lot more effort to carry camera and lenses (espcially since I need to push my wife's wheelchair), and I'm getting more comfortable with what my cellphone can do with a wide variety of lighting situations, as well as wide- and narrow-angle shots. Really appreciate your comments. Nov 17th
70 Nov 24 Comment Thanks, Pierre- Good observation and adjustment! I thought the perspective was good in my original, but I can see that you really improved it. Really appreciate it. Nov 15th
70 Nov 24 Comment Frans, thanks for showing the before and after images: great job of bringing out the colors and creating a mood. With the boaters against those vertical walls, it really tells a story. I love it. No suggestions. Nov 5th
70 Nov 24 Comment Hi Kathryn, what a fascinating image! I hadn't heard of this castle before, but looked it up online and found a good bit about its interesting history. It's certainly in a striking location and the photo of the white walls against the dark walls of the cave really "pop". I love the composition with the stone sides, trees and blue sky with clouds- just perfect. It really has a story to tell.

70 Nov 24 Comment Nice picture, Geoff. I like the rocky coast in the front and the flat beach at at angle with the water lapping over it. The single person in the lower left of the picture adds a nice perspective to the image. Both the leading lines on the left and right seem to point to the little finger of land at the top, but is that the focal point that you were trying to emphasize? I like the expansiveness of the image, but I think a focal point should be a little more obvious. Nov 5th
70 Nov 24 Comment Hi Pierre, what lovely colors and reflections. The little white houses add nice spots of interest among the other colors. I like the diagonal formed by the top of the trees on the top and in the water at the bottom which come together as a V on the right side. My only thought is that the sky seems pretty plain, and I wonder if it might help to add a little contrast to bring out some of the details. I tried that, and the result is attached. Nov 5th
