Frans- I really love what you did with this image!!! Like you, I believe that photo is an artistic creation, and using available tools to help create that image is part of the creative process. Removing the tree was perfect, and the setting sunlight and small lights around the water really set it off. Great job!!

Wow- this makes me shiver just to see it- but I really like the scene with the white fox against the white snow. Somehow, I think the bluish tint may be more attractive than a pure white, and I think it would be great as a print! Great job!

Hi Geoff- I love the blue water contrasted with the land and trees, and the flowing water through the two openings seems to add a feeling of movement. Like Frans, I'd love to see what's below the bottom of the picture, but it's really an attractive image the way it is.

I love the colors in this, Pierre! I agree with Frans that the vertical cropping makes the tree more of the center of attention and I like that a bit more. But both crops are attractive. |

HI Tami- Yes, I can see why this feature is named Chinaman's Hat- really does have that shape. I agree about the composition with the framing of the trees, but also that it seems a little dark. But, it makes me want to go there! |

Thanks so much for the comments. Pierre mentioned that it would be better if the buildings could be better framed. I agree, but that wasn't possible. A fence around the property prevented me from getting directly behind the sign. Here's the awkward angle I had to take the photo from and then had to crop to get the final image. |
