This is outstanding, Stefaan- really looks like a professional shot; makes the building come alive. I almost get a 3-D feeling from looking at this: great depth and clarity. Can't think of any way it could be improved. |

Hi Frans- I love everything about your image: the blue-hour backdrop, the array of Christmas lights reflected in the water, and the branch overhanging the water on the left. You did a great job removing the woman from the pic. No suggestions. |

Geoff- I love backlighted images like this tree, which really "pops" away from the darker background. The green, blue and red colors make a lovely backdrop, and I especially like the ray of light on the small branch coming up on the left of the tree. Really nice shot!

Hi Pierre, I love all the motion in the water- especially the cascading waterfalls! I couldn't tell whether the white in the upper quarter of the picture was water or snow, but looks nice, regardless. I think a little more resolution in the picture would be helpful. |

Thanks, Pierre. These cones were taken from some distance away, so I felt that a little sharpening was needed, but it's easy to overdo. About contrast, I actually tried to reduce the natural contrast of the shadows which made the cones look pretty dark. I lightened them a bit to bring out some detail, though I can certainly see your point.
