81 Jul 25 Comment Jennifer: The Grand Tetons have always been my favorite landscape. 50 years ago I shot a color photo of the Chapel with an Olympus film camera that still hangs in my office. (Needless to say I'm biased toward color.) I would suggest you crop down from the top to reduce the emphsis on the dark clouds and give importance to the mountains and the farmhouse. Jul 28th
81 Jul 25 Comment Congratulations on the honor of being selected to this event. You had a difficult challenge in photographing the building. I join the others in the group who would prefer to open up the crop to give your subject more sense of place.

81 Jul 25 Comment Janet: This is nicely done. The blossoms' shape and colors do remind me of fireworks. Your image is well balanced and pleasing to the eye. If I could suggest one enhancement it would be to tone down the exposure on the petals.

81 Jul 25 Comment Angela: This is a beautiful creation made from a few simple components. Choosing lavender is always a good start, especially since it's growing in your garden. I like the lavender petals at the base of your vase, as it beautifully balances the entire image.

88 Jul 25 Comment Sanat: Another beautiful image of another wonderful place. You enhanced the colors and the details of your scene, and you chose the perfect spot from which you shot image.

88 Jul 25 Comment Charles: It might be a "tourist" spot, but you have captured the best of it. Your colors are amazing, as is your attention to detail. Is your sky a replacement?

88 Jul 25 Comment Brian: I would prefer that you get rid of the nesting bird and lightening the image just a very, very, very little bit. Jul 28th
88 Jul 25 Comment This is a "once in a lifetime" photo. I hope you have a wall to hang it on. The only post-processing I would have done would be the railing in front of you; the lines that appeared in the sky and the water detract. Jul 28th
