Jennifer: The Grand Tetons have always been my favorite landscape. 50 years ago I shot a color photo of the Chapel with an Olympus film camera that still hangs in my office. (Needless to say I'm biased toward color.) I would suggest you crop down from the top to reduce the emphsis on the dark clouds and give importance to the mountains and the farmhouse. |

Congratulations on the honor of being selected to this event. You had a difficult challenge in photographing the building. I join the others in the group who would prefer to open up the crop to give your subject more sense of place.

Janet: This is nicely done. The blossoms' shape and colors do remind me of fireworks. Your image is well balanced and pleasing to the eye. If I could suggest one enhancement it would be to tone down the exposure on the petals.

Angela: This is a beautiful creation made from a few simple components. Choosing lavender is always a good start, especially since it's growing in your garden. I like the lavender petals at the base of your vase, as it beautifully balances the entire image.

Sanat: Another beautiful image of another wonderful place. You enhanced the colors and the details of your scene, and you chose the perfect spot from which you shot image.

Charles: It might be a "tourist" spot, but you have captured the best of it. Your colors are amazing, as is your attention to detail. Is your sky a replacement?

Brian: I would prefer that you get rid of the nesting bird and lightening the image just a very, very, very little bit. |

This is a "once in a lifetime" photo. I hope you have a wall to hang it on. The only post-processing I would have done would be the railing in front of you; the lines that appeared in the sky and the water detract. |
