I like this image a lot. A great idea beautifully executed, and your attention to detail is "the icing on the cake" (or donut). Glad to see that, with a black background, you identified your picture's boundary.

Wow! You accomplished what you set out to do with a very difficult subject. If I could make one suggestion it would be to bring out a little more light on the front of the base to reveal the inscription.

This wonderful image of deterioration and decay tells a great story. It draws the eye in to go slowly from room to room and on to the elements outside. Good work.

This street scene must have been a difficult shot. You did a good job of dimming the background and surroundings while highlighting the vendor. However, where did the black line around your subject come from.

Your photo of this beautiful Golden hit home with me, a long-time owner of these remarkable dogs. You captured a great expression in the dog's face and posture. What is he/she trying to tell you? I agree with others that the fur could be a bit sharper and more clarified.

The colors of the buildings are true to life, and the divergence between them is due to a curve in the street toward the right.

Sanat, thanks for the history that goes along with the festival picture. The colors are beautiful and true, and convey an atmosphere of celebration. You might have cloned out some of the figures on the right side closer to the tree. The single cloud surrounding the tree looks photoshopped.

Quang Phan:
This is a beautiful image, and is unusual due to your shooting directly into the emerging sunlight. However, I would have taken out the larger of the two trees, as it seems to overpower the entire image.
I too have moved over to the Olympus 4/3 camera gear in recent years.

Brian, this a a beautiful piece of work, with or without the children. The colors are true and work wonderfully well together. It is a place where one would like to stay a while.

Charles: Wonderful work. I like the addition of the dog; to me it represents life in a place of desolation and decay and immediately draws the eye in.
